February 2017[edit]

Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that in this edit to Pants on Fire (horse), you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 03:48, 22 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Citations[edit]

Hi, I'm seeing you add a lot of material to the horse racing articles, but can you please provide proper sources and footnotes for it? This is a policy of wikipedia, per WP:V and WP:RS. If you are unsure how to add citations, you can read WP:CITE, and I encourage you to enable templates in your preferences -- makes it a lot easier. Also, please be careful about promotional tone, Wikipedia isn't an advertising forum; it's sometimes a fine line, but try to avoid PR superlatives that are common to ad copy. I'm of mixed feelings about adding the stud fees, as it means someone then has to maintain all these articles indefinitely lest they become dated (as many already are), so I've posted at WT:WikiProject Horse racing for more input. Tip on using Equibase[edit]

In your edit summary for your edit on Indiana Oaks, you said that you couldn't find the owners of some of the winning horses. I've gone ahead and put that in, but for future reference, if you click on the chart for any given running of a race, the winning owner will be listed. It's right by the winning breeder, below the detailed timing information. Hope this helps! Aspening (talk) 04:01, 24 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

May 2017[edit]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did on Bubbling Over (horse). This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Dmoore5556 (talk) 07:10, 19 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
