request[edit]

Hi, I saw you listed as a translator and was wondering if you take requests to translate an English article into Chinese? Thanks --Turn685 (talk) 12:12, 20 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No. I only translate into my first language, English. Tooironic (talk) 21:28, 20 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

On Talk:Self-cultivation you wrote in Special:PermaLink/856894943:

This really needs a Wikipedia article, as it is a common practice in East Asian cultures (and probably some other ones too). In Chinese we call this 修養. And, no, it has nothing to do with "self-help" and the like in the West. Tooironic (talk) 06:56, 28 August 2018 (UTC)

Why not file a request at WP:RA? (I am not watching this page, so please ping me if you want my attention.) Sam Sailor 10:53, 28 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Sam Sailor: Thanks for the suggestion, however I am not sure which topic it would come under. Tooironic (talk) 00:21, 29 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
