Adding reference on Wikipedia articles[edit]

Just follow the steps 1, 2 and 3 as shown and fill in the details

Hello Triomio! Please do not forget to add references from reliable sources for the content you add to Wikipedia. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Adding a well formatted references is very easy to do.

  1. While editing any article or a wikipage, on the top of the edit window you will see a toolbar which says "cite" click on it
  2. Then click on "templates",
  3. Choose the most appropriate template and fill as many details as you can,

This will add a well formatted reference that would be helpful in case the website link (web URL) becomes inactive (dead/link rot) after some time. You can read more about it on Help:Edit toolbar or see this video File:RefTools.ogv. thanks and regards --DBigXray 15:40, 28 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Friesland or Frisia[edit]

Hi Triomio,

Please see section on the Talk page of the article that you renamed. Martinvl (talk) 06:22, 7 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please join in the discussion of Friesland vis-a-vis Frisis on the Talk:Friesland page. Martinvl (talk) 19:33, 7 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for pointing. See you there. Triomio (talk) 19:36, 7 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please undo your changes[edit]

Please undo your last change to the page Friesland (disambiguation). May I also point otu to you that you have undone other people's changes three time on this one page within the last 24 hours. If you undo anybody else's changes again within this window, you risk a 24 hour ban (see WP:3RR). Martinvl (talk) 20:14, 7 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, but since you went on with your contested edits on this page while you have been warned right above not to undo more than four changes by other editors, I had to report you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring. Please feel free to comment on the matter over there. De728631 (talk) 21:50, 7 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Someguy1221 (talk) 21:55, 7 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Frisia (disambiguation) for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Frisia (disambiguation) is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Frisia (disambiguation) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Martinvl (talk) 06:55, 8 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

What are you doing at http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Frisia_(disambiguation)&diff=next&oldid=506384427 ? Any reason why destroying the sections? Triomio (talk) 22:45, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

West Frisia and West Friesland[edit]

Hi Triomio,

I looked through a number of changes that you made before you were blocked. One of them concerned West Frisia and West Friesland. ALthough you said that they were different, you did not say why they were differnet. May I suggest that you add some dates into the introductory paragraphs - this will show the differences and will also remove an area of contention. Martinvl (talk) 21:17, 8 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion[edit]

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. You were blocked a few days ago. I am sorry, but the only way to get stability on the article is to request that you be blocked again. Martinvl (talk) 22:10, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

  • Triomio, you were blocked just a few days ago. You were notified here about the latest report. On the article Talk page, another editor advised you to self-revert your last edits. I actually waited for you to respond to that sound advice, but you ignored it.--Bbb23 (talk) 22:30, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
    • Look at the IBAN article. I am requesting citations and I add sources. I reword the intro to not contradict the ISO website. Martinvl is simply reverting all this all the time. He also removed the cleanup request tag. He is the one that should be blocked. I feel it is very unfair to block me a second time. See also how another user complaint of constant reversions by Martinvl [1]. This guy is very bad for Wikipedia and next time when the Foundation reports that fewer people edit, one can assume this is due to users like Martinvl. Please take more care when blocking and not simply follow block requests by people that have blocking in itself (making up SPI and 3RR cases) higher on the priority list than improving articles. Triomio (talk) 22:38, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Unfortunately, your attitude is not conducive to constructive editing. You need to abide by Wikipedia policies, regardless of what you think of other editors. Saying "I had to do it because user X did such-and-such" is not a viable defense, nor an indication that you understand how things work at Wikipedia. Instead of reacting in anger, take some time and think about it.--Bbb23 (talk) 22:50, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • It is the other way around, the one who said "had to" was Martinvl, not me. [2]. I was simply improving the IBAN article. It is Martinvl's attitude that is not constructive editing, because he is simply reverting, while I added references, requested citations and made the IBAN article more compliant with sources. He is deleting references, requests for citations, and runs around to ask other users to block people. And he succeeds. Triomio (talk) 23:00, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your user page[edit]

Triomio, please read the discussion here. What would you like to do? You can keep your user page as is. You can edit it. Or I can delete it for you, putting it back to the way it was before Martin created it. Your choice.--Bbb23 (talk) 23:16, 13 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I've read the discussion at User talk:Martinvl/2012#User page bug?. Considering the timescale of this discussion and current user status, I think it makes sense to delete User:Triomio (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs). Doing so will avoid potential confusion. If you'd like it restoring for some reason, just place {{admin help}} here. I hope that's OK. Cheers. -- Trevj (talk | contribs) 14:29, 9 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
