A tag has been placed on Aso Oke Hat, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Image without license[edit]

Unspecified source/license for Image:Indian Muslim.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Indian Muslim.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 01:29, 13 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I added a {{cc-by-2.0}} tag and restored the image to the article. When using images from Flickr please remember to check the copyright link (it usually says "some rights reserved" or something similar) and use one of the tags at [[1]] --Enric Naval (talk) 15:05, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I deleted a bunch of images you uploaded. To name a few examples, the UN material is copyrighted. Flickr images are only allowed when released under a creative commons license. The images you uploaded states "all rights reserved" which means they can not be used on Wikipedia. See Wikipedia:Copyrights for more information. Garion96 (talk) 12:02, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
And again you uploaded Image:Benin Wedding.jpg which I deleted again. The image is from flickr, but it is NOT released under a creative commons license therefore you uploaded a copyright violation. Do not upload anymore copyright violations and please read the links in my message above. Uploading copyright violations is a fast way to be getting blocked indefinitely. Stop[edit]

Please stop removing the Bob Wood dashiki photo. This is an insult to all that care about African-American culture. OddibeKerfeld (talk) 20:14, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Final warning[edit]

I saw that you uploaded File:Traditional Dashiki Shirt.jpg. As you look at the source site at flickr [2] it clearly states that this image is released under a non-commercial license which can not be uploaded to Wikipedia. You already have been warned for this, if you upload another copyvio you will be blocked indefinitely. Garion96 (talk) 19:45, 17 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Bob Wood[edit]

WoodAlabama.JPG[edit]

The photo Image:WoodAlabama.JPG has been deleted from the dashiki article because the image is of Wood wearing a jacket. The garment in question is not a dashiki. A dashiki is a shirt. I am begging you to stop vandalizing the dashiki article. Many individuals here at wikipedia have spent hours, days, and years trying to maintain the article. We have many racists who vandalize it, and you keep doing so. I am assuming that you are not a racist. I explained to you that Bob Wood is wearing a mudcloth jacket. The garment he is wearing is NOT a dashiki. Please do not upload this photo again. Please take a photo of him in a dashiki, and I will leave it in the article. It will not be deleted. A dashiki is a shirt, not a jacket. Asante. Thank you. Trueblue74 (talk)

I didn't know the Bob Wood photo was a mud clothe jacket and not a dashiki. I'm not vandalism anything! I'm not sure why you brought race into the discussion either or flirted with calling me a racist. What's the cause of that? I think you are rude and need to learn some manners. Bugger off! OddibeKerfeld (talk) 19:11, 30 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for this late response. I must have missed your message. It seems to be solved already. Be carful with accusing of vandalism though, this was just an honest mistake. Garion96 (talk) 13:19, 21 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
