Pool of Radiance

Hey man! I don't know if you only work with the more modern games, but since you did such a great job on Planescape, I was wondering if you'd take a look at Pool of Radiance with a more video-gamey perspective than perhaps I have, and see if you can do anything to help or provide any perspective. :) BOZ (talk) 03:51, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

Sure thing, I'll take a look at it first chance I get, maybe this weekend. Slowly returning to Wikipedia after moving around a bit. — Levi van Tine (tc) 14:23, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
Cool, no problem! :) BOZ (talk) 11:37, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

I put it up for peer review, so let's see what we get.  :) BOZ (talk) 01:59, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

Working on the suggestions in the peer review now: Don't know what "using a multi-console review template for the Reception section, like {{Video game multiple console reviews}}" entails, but perhaps you could demonstrate? :) BOZ (talk) 19:25, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

Sorry for the delay. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed makes use of it; it's just a way to tabulate reviews for multiple consoles at the same time. This could allow you to condense the Reception section a little so that you don't need as much text for each console it was released on. Vantine84 (talk) 15:24, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
You offered to copyedit after I implemented Jimmy's suggestions, so be my guest! :) BOZ (talk) 15:17, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
I'll get to work as soon as I can. Vantine84 (talk) 15:24, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
Greatness! BOZ (talk) 17:22, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

Welcome back! :) I nominated the article for GAN. BOZ (talk) 02:14, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

Riddick! part 2

GamerPro64 here. First off, good to know that you are back(?) on Wikipedia. Anyways I wanted to let you know I just started a Peer Review for... The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay. Just wanted to keep you in the loop in case you and I will work together again. Reply soon. GamerPro64 (talk) 02:02, 19 July 2009 (UTC)

I'll keep an eye on it. I think the result of the first GAN was unwarranted and it shouldn't take much to put it back up. — Levi van Tine (tc) 14:25, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

Just a heads up. I've nominated Escape from Butcher Bay for GA. I hope this time It'll pass. GamerPro64 (talk) 17:35, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Request

Hi, it's Tezkag72, we've met here in the past, now I have a request. Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy is an article I've been working on for a few months; it passed GAN recently, then I did some more work, and now it's at peer review here. I'm planning to take the article to FAC soon; when you have time, would you mind giving some comments at the peer review? I've asked two other people but neither have responded. Tezkag72 (talk) 18:43, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

Ask and ye shall receive. — Levi van Tine (tc) 13:23, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
Hello, Vantine84. You have new messages at Tezkag72's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.
All right, what needs to be done in terms of a copyedit? Is it a big thing? I asked a guy a couple weeks ago, at least, and he didn't respond. Tezkag72 (talk) 23:33, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
A general copyedit. The whole thing should be nitpicked. Vantine84 (talk) 00:15, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

Samus Aran peer review

Hi, I think I have resolved all of your comments at Wikipedia:Peer review/Samus Aran/archive1; if you have any follow-up comments, please post them at the new peer review, Wikipedia:Peer review/Samus Aran/archive2, thanks! Gary King (talk) 21:19, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

Its me again. Me and JimmyBlackwing are working on this article and I want to know if you want to join us. GamerPro64 (talk) 19:48, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

I'd really like to help, but I've got a lot on my plate right now. Tell you what, why don't you give me a specific assignment and I'll see what I can do? Vantine84 (talk) 09:10, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

O.K. Why don't you work on the Legacy section. It needs exspanding. GamerPro64 (talk) 20:17, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

Reporting for duty!

Hi there! I saw that you were looking for a WikiOtter. I'd be happy to help with any ogreish rampages; let me know if there's anything that I can do to help! --Senthryl (talk) 17:53, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

Wow, great! So, what kind of things do WikiOtters do anyways? Vantine84 (talk) 09:05, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
Well, aside from building holts and catching WikiTrouts, we like to help other editors do large tasks. So if you're ever working on a series of articles (e.g. rewriting trivia sections in a bunch of video game articles or adding screenshots to all articles on games from a given franchise) then feel free to call me and I'll swim over to help. You can also use this userbox to indicate this: {{User wikipedia/Otter}} -- Senthryl (talk) 13:20, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

Re: GAN

Are you serious? Firstly I nominated the article on 11 June. I happen to have less free time than I did six weeks ago, but in any case given that it took six weeks for anyone to look at it, I fail to see how an inability to complete two on-hold-reviews in less than 2 weeks is unacceptable. There's good article nominees currently on hold from as far back as May. Secondly I disagree that progress was not being made, since I added further reviews and expanded information on the characters and gameplay (I also have rebuttals to a couple of points saved on my word processor...) only last night. I have more than a dozen successful GA nominations so I find the insinuation that I'm too noncommittal to finish them ludicrous. If your time is so valuable and you wish to operate under such time constraints, I suggest you refrain from reviewing more than one of my articles at once, since I am unable to respond fast enough. bridies (talk) 16:10, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

I think I'll be taking your advice. 02:21, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

PR Request

Hey there! I found your name through the peer review volunteers page. I've been working on Anarchy Online for the past few week trying to get it closer to a FAC, and a peer review is open over at Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Peer review. If this sounds like something that interests you please come by and tell me what you think. I haven't had much outside input since its GA review last year. Please update your status with WP:VG

Dear WikiProject Video games member,

You are receiving this message because you have either Category:WikiProject Video games members or {{User WPVG}} somewhere in your userspace and you have edited Wikipedia in recent months.

The Video games project has created a member list to provide a clearer picture of its active membership.

All members have currently been placed in the "Inactive" section by default. Please remove your username from the "Inactive" listing and place it under the "Active" listing if you plan on regularly:

Ideally, members are encouraged to do both, but either one meets our criteria of inclusion. Members still listed inactive at the beginning of November 2009 may be removed. You may re-add yourself to the active list at any time. Thank you for your help, and we look forward to working with you.

I am not sure what your plan with the article is, but a couple of months ago I started working on this in order to get it to GA and then get a NwN2 topic nominated. Is that your plan too? Nergaal (talk) 22:47, 7 October 2009 (UTC)

Yep! We're almost there. You can head to the D&D task force talk page to check the progress. We'd love the help! — Vantine84 (tc) 03:14, 8 October 2009 (UTC)

How many more abbreviations can you fit into a still-legible section heading? :) Anyway, I think that I've addressed all of your concerns at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Neverwinter Nights 2: Mysteries of Westgate/archive1. –Drilnoth (T • C • L) 16:09, 8 October 2009 (UTC)

Saw peer review

Hey there. I am leaving you this message because I noticed you are a volunteer on the Peer Review volunteers page. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind peer reviewing the Saw (video game) article on its peer review page. If you could, it would be much appreciated. Thanks, GroundZ3R0 002 01:29, 12 January 2010 (UTC)

Hello Vantine84, I was wondering if you would be available to help contribute to a peer review on Tomb Raider? I'd like to try and improve the article as much as I can. I managed to improve the article and promote it to B-class yesterday, but to improve it further, I would like an in-depth review. More details are available here. Thank you for your time! Neverwinter Nights 2 Peer Review

Left some comments for the article at the peer review page per your request for assessment. Hope it helps. CrimsonFox talk 22:13, 30 January 2010 (UTC)

Request review of DarkSpace

Hello,

I have recently made some edits to the article DarkSpace. I see you are listed as a volunteer for video game peer review. If you have time and want to take a look, any feedback or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks! Culix (talk) 04:49, 2 February 2010 (UTC)

Your majesty, it gives me great pleasure to bestow the Triple Crown upon Vantine84 for your great gaming-related contributions in the areas of WP:DYK, WP:GA, and WP:FA. cheers, Casliber (talk · contribs) 13:10, 16 March 2010 (UTC)

Request for peer review

Digimon Racing, an article I've been working on a lot lately, is at peer review now, here. You've been good with peer reviews in the past, and not much at all has gone on at this peer review, so stop by if you have time. Thanks. Tezero (talk) 02:54, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
