April 2017[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions are appreciated, but, in this edit to Vibhas Joshi, you removed Articles for deletion notices from articles or removed other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates. This makes it difficult to establish consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 21:07, 11 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Vibhas Joshi. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Vibhas Joshi, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 21:10, 11 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

April 2017[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your user page may not meet Wikipedia's user page guideline. If you believe that your user page does not violate our guideline, please leave a note on this page. Alternatively you may add {{Db-u1}} to the top of the page in question and an administrator will delete it, or you can simply edit the page so that it meets Wikipedia's user page guideline. I have thus taken the liberty to temporally blank it.Cheers! Winged Blades Godric 07:17, 13 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please note that {{Db-u1}} can only be used on your user page, User:Vibhas Joshi. It cannot be used on the article titled Vibhas Joshi: it is not a user page, and you were not the user who created it. (If an article has only been contributed to by one editor, then it could be tagged by that editor with {{Db-author}}.) —C.Fred (talk) 20:52, 13 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
