Hallo Walkurax!

Kwiki (talk) 05:25, 15 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hallo Kwiki,
bedankt voor de tip. Ik zal naar een oplossing zoeken, kan wel even duren vanwege andere prioriteiten.
Groetjes,
Walkurax

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Africa education review, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://library.georgetown.edu/newjour/a/msg04283.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Various African journals[edit]

I moved most of them so that they use capital letters for the titles. They could do with some incoming links though. Cheers. Enter CambridgeBayWeather, waits for audience applause, not a sausage 16:32, 23 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Did you actually read the above? How many of your articles created after the above message have been moved by someone else? — RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 12:23, 27 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • On the subject of these journals: I just prodded one (see below), but most of those articles do not seem to indicate any notability. This is often problematic for scientific journals (very few articles are written about scientific journals), but there should be at least a minimal indication of why these journals are notable. Some guidance will be appreciated, I really would hate to go for wholesale prodding (or AfD if the prods would be removed), so sources are more than welcome. --Crusio (talk) 22:45, 27 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Acta Theologica, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Acta theologica. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally moving or duplicating content, please be sure you have followed the procedure at Wikipedia:Splitting by acknowledging the duplication of material in edit summary to preserve attribution history.

advice[edit]

I'm very interested in getting all academic journals that might meet our notability standards into Wikipedia, but some of the ones you are entering have serious problems.

  1. If it does not have an ISSN, it will almost certainly not be considered an notable publication
  2. If it has not actually published any significant number of articles, it will similarly not be considered notable, at least not yet
  3. Unless it is indexed in standard international indexes for the subject, it probably will not be considered notable
  4. Online journals without a print presence are often started on the most sketchy basis, and tend to be looked at rather skeptically.

If I can give you any help with list, let me know. DGG ( talk ) 02:20, 25 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Afra Newsletter requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. African journals[edit]

Hi, I am not sure whether you are still around or whether you have left, but I have been spending hours and hours cleaning up the mess you made on African journals. Next time you create an article, please first get familiar with what such articles should contain, how they should be properly categorized, the proper layout, and, above all, WP:Notability. Most of the articles that you created was at incorrect titles, for journals/magazines that have hardly or no notability at all.
