Caledonia protesters picture[edit]

Do you have a better pic by any chance?? - that one has the demo obscured by SUVs! Cheers -- max rspct leave a message 22:45, 24 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

yeah , I changed the pic and added one of the armed police. Thanks -- max rspct leave a message 14:21, 25 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Can you take a look at the talk page and leave a note re: my renaming perposal? thanks.

Reverting pages[edit]

I saw that you reverted the Christmas films page after it was merged with the Christmas in the media page. Can you also revert the Tevlevision Specials page? Please.

When dealing with that kind of vandalism in the future, use the db- prefixed templates to nominate such a page for speedy deletion instead of attacking the creator of the article. This adds the article to appropriate categories where administrators can then find and delete the article. --Charlie( t | e ) 05:12, 31 December 2006 (UTC) =[reply]

Hello, Wuffyz. An automated process has found and removed an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that was in your userspace. The image (Image:Amiglobe.JPG) was found at the following location: User:Wuffyz. This image or media was attempted to be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media was replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. Please find a free image or media to replace it with, and or remove the image from your userspace. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 00:50, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Wuffyz, an automated process has found an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, such as fair use. The image (Image:Turtle Island News.JPG) was found at the following location: User:Wuffyz. This image or media will be removed per statement number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media will be replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. The image that was replaced will not be automatically deleted, but it could be deleted at a later date. Articles using the same image should not be affected by my edits. I ask you to please not re-add the image to your userpage and could consider finding a replacement image licensed under either the Creative Commons or GFDL license or released to the public domain. Thanks for your attention and cooperation. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 04:51, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of List of Christmas films[edit]

List of Christmas films, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that List of Christmas films satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Christmas films and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of List of Christmas films during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Collectonian 15:43, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Finaldraft1.PNG)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Finaldraft1.PNG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:36, 5 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Turtle Island News.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Turtle Island News.JPG. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 18:39, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Mark Summers[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Mark Summers, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Article lacks Attribution to Verify WP:BIO or WP:BLP notability criteria.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.

Quotes[edit]

These are in a sort of special situation, as they're the only thing we've got with the event being this recent (there's been no other reaction). So, in this case, transwiki to WikiQuote is a bit premature. Would you mind if I removed the template for now? The quotes are mainly there to show notability when a corresponding item goes up on the news section. Cheers, Master of Puppets - Call me MoP! :D 00:16, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Files missing description details[edit]

Dear uploader: The media files you uploaded as:

are missing a description and/or other details on their image description pages. If possible, please add this information. This will help other editors make better use of the images, and they will be more informative to readers.

If the information is not provided, the images may eventually be proposed for deletion, a situation which is not desirable, and which can easily be avoided.

If you have any questions, please see Help:Image page. Thank you. Theo's Little Bot (error?) 10:54, 14 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Notification of automated file description generation[edit]

Your upload of File:Booste Juice And Sky.JPG or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks! Message delivered by Theo's Little Bot (opt-out) 13:59, 19 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Another one of your uploads, File:Caledonia Bridge.JPG, has also had some information automatically added. If you get a moment, please review the bot's contributions there as well. Thanks! Message delivered by Theo's Little Bot (opt-out) 14:50, 9 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Cheat searching[edit]

The article Cheat searching has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Original research, delete per WP:NEO

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. The article Contrail (network) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline and the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (companies) requirement. If you disagree and deprod this, please explain how it meets them on the talk page here in the form of "This article meets criteria A and B because..." and ping me back through WP:ECHO or by leaving a note at User talk:Piotrus. Thank you.
