Hundreds of well-documented citations and his name in the title make it abundantly clear that Aristotle is the one who formalized Aristotle's Theory of Universals. Apples are a concrete and verifiable real-world example of physical objects with observable properties. The jargon in the Problem of Universals redirect is too obfuscating. undo Tags: Removed redirect Manual revert

Aristotle's Theory of Universals is notable because it is a holistic take on reality. I cite this article for its approachable introduction to realism, which is useful in epistemics and data science. Check the 307 citations in the external link. Aristotle is kind of a big deal, and I would like to be able to cite his works! Incidentally, this is my favourite article on Wikipedia. undo Tags: Removed redirect Manual revert Reverted

I've read this article multiple times, and each time I read the word "deserts" as "desserts" and am then confused with the examples of what I thought would be desserts. I think this is caused by the mention of apples at the beginning of the paragraph. I hope this change will make the article easier to read in the future. undo Tag: Visual edit

I don't think this is something the average lay person would immediately understand, so we should make it as easy as possible. undo Tag: Visual edit
