Technically it's a 4-piperidinol, but is that of utility to readers? I am looking for and intend to include the appropriate Janssen papers but they are elusive. I would appreciate help on this. The book merely says that it IS Janssen... but nothing more. I think BBC reference is in order (3 creditable references). I would hope 2 is acceptable, but prefer to get it right. undo

This is an achiral derivative. It's also worth noting that adding a 3-methyl to the piperidine increases potency as does a 3,3-dimethyl. I do not think anyone has combined all of these features. undo
