Based on the members list, there are currently 215 members participating in WikiProject Professional wrestling.
There are currently 561 articles in Category:Stub-Class Professional wrestling articles. It still would be greatly appreciated if anyone could help expand and/or source an article or two. A list has been placed on the stub article subpage of stub articles of well-known wrestlers that should be fairly easy to improve.
The Article alerts for WP:PW is now up and running. This page lists recent changes that affect the status of an article in a variety of categories. Please use this in maintaining the articles of the project.

Recent Professional Wrestling News

On March 15 at Destination X
- A.J. Styles won the TNA Legends Championship by defeating defending champion Booker T, and by doing so becoming TNA's first ever Grand Slam Champion.
- Suicide defeated defending TNA X Division Champion Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Consequences Creed and Jay Lethal in an Ultimate X match to win the title.
On March 17:

It was confirmed via WWE.com that The Von Erichs were the sixth inductees into the WWE Hall of Fame as a part of the Class of 2009.
At a set of Friday Night SmackDown tapings:

Montel Vontavious Porter defeated Shelton Benjamin to win the WWE United States Championship; this match aired on March 20.
Gail Kim made her return to WWE by attacking Maryse and Michelle McCool; this segment will air on March 27.

It was reported by a Nielsen Media Research ratings report that the March 19 broadcast of TNA Impact! earned a 1.34 television rating, the highest number the promotion has ever drawn.
On March 21, it was reported by Elizabeth Miklosi "Lizzy Valentine" on her official Myspace web page that she had quit the Asistencia Asesoría y Administración promotion.
On March 22:

"Abismo Negro" Andrés González was found dead in a river in El Rosario, Mexico.
Steve Doll died from heart and kidney failure caused by a blood clot in his lung.
