Hi, welcome to Wikipedia. I'm not sure what you are trying to do -- the Claremont Colleges are not in the City of Los Angeles, but you keep trying to add them there. That article only lists entities within the city. They are, however, in Los Angeles County, which would be the appropriate place to include them. Thanks, Antandrus (talk) 05:54, 26 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Claremont is included in the city of LA. There are plenty of colleges on that list that are not necessarily "within the city," such as Occidental College, but they are not being removed. I see no reason why the Claremont Colleges should be removed from the list if others are permitted to stay. Wikkedout (talk) 05:58, 26 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Occidental College is in Eagle Rock, which is in the City of Los Angeles. Claremont is a separate city. The Claremont Colleges are in Clarement, which is not Los Angeles City. You do understand the difference between an incorporated city and an informal designation of a large metropolitan area, yes? Antandrus (talk) 06:03, 26 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The only thing I am "understanding" at this point is that you are a pissy little wiki tyrant who clearly wants to twist things to suit your own ends. Don't bore me. Claremont is located within the city limits of LA, and is considered part of Los Angeles. There is absolutely no reason why they should be deleted. Wikkedout (talk) 06:13, 26 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, but I have to side with B-Band on this one. Claremont is an incorporated city in its own right; it has been for a century; in addition it is almost 40 miles from the center of Los Angeles and does not border L.A. at any point. Occidental (where I attend) is a much different case; it is in a neighborhood that is within the city limits of L.A., and is only a few miles from the center of L.A.. If you continue to make these inaccurate edits and slandering B-Band, I will have to report you to AIV. By the way, here are some warnings related to your edits. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Los Angeles, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Purplebackpack89 15:04, 26 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Los Angeles. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Purplebackpack89 15:04, 26 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not attack other editors, as you did here: User talk:Wikkedout. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Purplebackpack89 15:04, 26 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did to Los Angeles, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Purplebackpack89 15:06, 26 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I stand by the edits and that's all that matters to me. All of you are wrong. It's really that simple. The Claremont Colleges should be included in that list, and that's that. I'm done. Wikkedout (talk) 16:02, 26 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive comments.
If you continue to make personal attacks on other people, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. In addition, please note that Wikipedia works by consensus. It is not acceptable to insist on your own version, rather than discussing with other editors to try to reach consensus. If consensus is clearly against you then you should gracefully accept the fact. JamesBWatson (talk) 21:08, 26 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Excuse me, but I'm not obligated to "gracefully" accept anything. I happen to disagree emphatically with this so-called consensus, and that is my prerogative. I have expressed my POV and already noted that I am done and no longer wish to pursue the issue, so please don't try and dictate to me the manner in which I should accept the outcome. You don't have that privilege.

This is a dead issue as far as I'm concerned. Stop harassing and threatening me. Wikkedout (talk) 23:49, 26 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
