I have created a number of decent articles on a variety of topics. My total "new" articles is 27, with a handful of stub overhauls. Most recently, I've focused on Christian liturgy and I plan on putting out a few more in that sphere to cover a couple more notable revisions of the Book of Common Prayer and some well-referenced but articleless liturgical terminology. I had one article (Lake Matoaka) in unreviewed purgatory for a number of months (despite a DYK), which was a frustrating experience. I recently had my first BLP get held up in an AfD (which was SNOW'd as a keep), so I'm now far more familiar with the requirements for that fairly difficult type of article. If you want to see some of the articles I've produced representative of the direction I plan to go in for the next few years: President’s House (College of William & Mary), Primer (prayer book), Pontifical, and Edwardine Ordinals. I have over 200 articles created, all without any issues so far. I haven't run into any issues; no complaints about editing style or behavior that I'm aware of. Was a new page reviewer for a month. Nominated a few of my works for GA, one passed others awaitng review, if that's something to consider. I see there's a large NPP backlog so I hope to relieve the burden. Autopatrolled

I have created 80 articles and 4000+ edit counts in English wikipedia. Most of the articles I have created are reviewed by many reviewers without any further editing on those pages from their side (in most cases). I know this as I received notifications about my articles being reviewed. I think that the reviewers of my articles are usually satisfied with me, it's just my thought. So, I think I should not give a burden to the reviewers who are checking on the list of articles pending for review in this wiki. So, I wish to achieve the autopatrolled user right. In other wikis, I have autopatrolled user rights in Wikimedia Commons and Meta wiki, IP block exemption user right in Meitei wikipedia.

Reason for requesting autopatrolled rights Haoreima (talk) 14:01, 18 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not done I looked at an article that you created a few days ago, Meitei associate official language movement, and found significant copying from numerous cited sources. Click though and look at a few of those links in the Earwig report, not just the top one. (I will try to clean up that article tomorrow unless someone beats me to it.) Please review our copyright policy, and in the meantime I think your article creations should still be reviewed by NPP. Thanks, DanCherek (talk) 06:09, 1 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
DanCherek But sir! The link you provided itself says it's "violation unlikely" (37% similarities in words) between the source links and the very wikipedia article. And those similarities shown in that mechanism (you showed) are mostly "nouns", especially specific terms like "Associate official language", names of languages like "Assamese", "Bengali", which I can't change into a new term, while writing a new article. --Haoreima (talk) 10:50, 1 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The percentage and violation estimate themselves are never really meaningful, we look at the actual overlap. Of course names of languages, etc. are fine, but there's quite a bit more than that. For instance, there's no reason that this:

"Notably the CM Sonowal on October 8 announced that the civil service aspirants of Barak Valley who have not studied Assamese, Bengali, or Bodo languages will be exempted from appearing in the qualifying language paper in the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) CEE examination." [1]

couldn't be reworded in a more original manner compared to the current article (overlapping text in bold):

On 8 October 2020, Sarbananda Sonowal, the then Chief Minister of Assam, announced that the civil service aspirants of Barak Valley who have not studied Assamese, Bodo or Bengali languages will be exempted from appearing in the qualifying language paper in the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) CEE examination.

It's quite clear that this sentence was copied from the source and superficially modified (see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing). That's just one example. DanCherek (talk) 12:18, 1 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Created over 100 articles. 6 have been deleted, most recently in 2020. New creations do not appear to require attention from NPP. * Pppery * it has begun... 15:03, 26 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@MPGuy2824 has authored 632 articles and authors about one or two a month right now but does have large influxes of articles at times. They are a NPP, have no copyright violations, no blocks, and no behavioral related sanctions that I can find or have seen. Requesting autopatrol privileges to prevent strain on the NPP backlog. Thank you for your time and if this request is not appropriate or if I've made a mistake please let me know. Dr vulpes (💬📝) 23:57, 26 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I have created plenty of articles recently, especially this month, without any issues, and am in the process of creating more. None of the articles I have created overall have been deleted and I have had a couple moved to draft but these were early last year and were among the early articles I created; they were moved back to main not long after and since then I have been consistent. I understand that there is a backlog for NPP, so I am requesting autopatrolled rights to reduce this burden on NPP. Thanks. Mellk (talk) 22:47, 27 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
