He is considered among the early politicians of Garhi Habibullah after the creation of Pakistan. He was the [[Tehsildar|Tax Officer]] and [[Tehsildar|Executive Magistrate]] of [[Mansehra District|Mansehra]] when the Mansehra was a Tehsil(now District). He had remained General Councilor of UC Garhi Habibullah from 1987 to 1992. He was the grandson of Ghulam Muhammad Khan Jehangiri (Who belonged to Khan family of Sandy Sar, later migrated and owned the big part of lands in Garhi too, most educated man of Garhi of his times). His family had a great legacy of being [[Sultanate of Swat|Kings of Swat]](1190-1519), Kings of Dir(1519-1700), Chiefs of whole [[Swati tribe]] (1190-1700). [[Jahangiri Swati|Jehangiri Swati family]] is ruling many areas of [[Mansehra District|District Mansehra]] and [[Battagram District|District Battagram]] still today.

He was head of family [[Arghushal Swati|Hassan Ali Khan Arghushal Swati]]( A family separated from the current [[Nawab|Nawabs]] of [[Thakot|Thakot Valley]] and Khans of Dhodial). He was the descendant of Sultan Arghush— A powerful King of [[Sultanate of Swat]], [[Balochistan]] and [[Kandahar]] and a power Chief of whole Swati tribe.

7.Dr Wajid Khan Sarkheli Swati:- He emerged as the young leader by taking the big vote in his first election on the seat of MPA Tehsil Balakot in 2017. He had been Supply Chain Manager at MSF for [[Holland]], [[Uganda]] and [[Abbottabad District|Abbottabad]]. He is currently the General Councilor of UC Garhi Habibullah. He got 1014 votes in the last local elections of UC despite of 3 contestants against him from his family while the first position holder got 1300s votes. His other 3 family members broke 1400 vote of him as he was expected to cross 2400 which was the un-achieveable target to any other contestant.
