RFCN - Assertion of Authority

Chairboy, by making the statement you did with the wording you used, it was clearly an assertion of authority. I read Sam's RFCN Submission and I fully understood where an violation of WP:U can be interpreted. Your statement read much like a internal memo from a superior officer to a subordinate in a company. With respect, I think you're really quite mistaken. I hope you haven't mistaken our disagreement over the subject of the RFCN with something more insidious. Please re-read the specific message you've taken issue with, and if you remain concerned, I welcome any external input you'd like to bring in. Change re: Adminship?

Never really was opposed to adminship, it was just the only usebox that I found at the time that showed I was not an admin (I had a situation where a new user was ranting that I was an admin.) I've found one that better suits my actual position, and felt it was time to change to prevent people from misinterpreting my position. Cascadia ^{TALK| HISTORY} 19:31, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

PS, my appologies if I've seemed a bit on the rude side. This week (er, month) has not been the best (not horrible, but somewhat stressful), and it seems that in the heat of discussion, I may have allowed my frustrations from elsewhere spill into my arguments. I can't help it (through the pixie part of the wikignome) - your comment sans smiley worries me just a little, as whether you know the acronym POOMA, the polite definition of which is "Pulled out of mid air", though I learned a much coarser version, which um better fits the uh topic of discussion. I see you left the user a username concern template. I was thinking of doing the same. Did you see these (more appropriate) usernames that appear to be in the same "format" (User:EuterpesEulogyOFEuphemisms and User:CalliopesConundrumOfConniptions)? I don't know if they're just socks or meatpuppets or what. Each one has only 1 edit to their respective user pages. I guess we should just keep an eye on what they contribute. I'm doing some experimentation. I'm good at straight out and out HTML on a webpage, however, getting things to work here where I don't have total control is something I need to work on. It'll be back up in a while. I know some people say "You shouldn't edit your userpage so much, it isn't myspace", but to me, since I don't have time to do heavy research right now, it gives me a chance to, for lack of a better term, "Blow it all to hell" without actually ruining an article, etc. Cascadia ^{TALK| HISTORY} 03:52, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the note, it wasn't necessary but it is appreciated. I was starting to get pretty cranky there at the end; sorry about that. Believe it or not, I don't feel strongly about the capital S, I just feel strongly about being listened to. Anyone monitoring my talk page? HELP

Will an admin monitoring my talk page, or someone, please unblock me. User:CanadianCaesar has blocked an IP belonging to the University of Phoenix, instead of the username he was going after, and has such blocked all contributors within UOP (and it is a slow day here!).

lilkuna disc page vandalised

As an expert web designer, and COO of a company that builds web pages, I can tell you exactly what happened: YOU added a font tag that was never closed. You also added that font tag to my page (again, unclosed). Please, DO NOT USE FONT TAGS WHEN REPLYING TO ANY MESSAGES ON ANY TALK PAGE. You clearly do not have an understanding of HTML and how to use it properly. Please consider this an official warning.
