Koralia Karanti (born September 17, 1955) is an English actress of Greek parentage, former fashion model and philanthropist. She is best known for playing the protagonist of the Greek television series, Erotas, Myrtle Anagnostou despite her earlier film and television career.
Early
Born into an acting family in London in 1955 she was raised there until age 10. She attended an all Greek school in London where she learnt to speak English, Greek and French fluently. At age 10, the family moved back to Greece because they missed their family and also for financial reasons.
Career
After moving back to Greece she established herself as an actress working mainly in commercials from age 14 to 18. She then moved to stage and film work, for the next 20 years. Lately she has been presenting her own talk show on a small cable television network and is best known for her role as Myrto Anagnostou on Erotas.
Personal life
She is currently married to George Liani, whom with she has one son and one daughter.
