Revision as of 11:38, 24 March 2008
This is a list consisting of couples from the fictional realm, as well as the media surrounding celebrity, who have been titled as supercouples (referred to as power couples or dynamic duos in other reference). Couples that merit such a title include:
- Mania (significant press, media attention, etc. being placed on the couple, having to do with charm)
- Labeled a supercouple by valid sources
- Notable impact (having defined the medium by either Number 1 criteria cited above or by becoming a defacto symbol for its genre)
- Listed as an all-time top romance (this usually applying to television, film and video game couples)
Each of these examples has been identified by scholars, critics and press as defining a supercouple.[1][2][3][4]

(help) BRITNEY AND JUSTIN KISS AND MAKE UP! Pop super couple Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake are back together! The two stars were spotted in New York getting into a chauffeur-driven jeep at around midnight. They were then seen entering Britney's New York apartment block. "THEY WALKED INTO BRITNEY'S building hand in hand," reveals a source. "And once they were inside the lobby, they started making out and sucked face all the way to the elevators. They had their arms wrapped around each other. You'd never know that they'd broken up. Justin left alone three hours later, looking rumpled and happy." Despite this reunion, Justin, in particular, is not convinced they're back together for good. "He wants to take things very, very slow this time," continues a close friend. "As much as they love each other, they may see other people while they're dating. They're just gonna have fun getting to know each other all over again." In a recent interview with US Rolling Stone magazine Justin revealed, "I really do still love that girl. I may not ever get over her. "She has a beautiful heart. But if I've lost my trust in someone, I don't think it's right for me to be with them." Responding to Justin's touching words, Brit replied, "I'm touched he loves me. A part of me will always love him because he was my first love." - ^ "My Way - Liz Smith". myway.com. Retrieved 2008-03-13.
