Kasamh Se (Hindi: कसम से, Urdu: قسم سے) is an Indian soap opera produced by Ekta Kapoor. It has been shown since 2006 on Zee TV every Monday - Thursday depending on which Country it broadcasts in. The story deals with the trials and tribulations of three sisters, Bani Walia, Pia Shukla and Rano Bali.

Plot summary

Bani is the main character and the oldest of three sisters. Her parents die, so she and her two sisters go to live with Jai Walia, a business tycoon in Mumbai. Pia originally loves Pushkar but agrees to marry Jai because of his wealth. She runs away from the wedding and Bani ends up marrying Jai instead. At first, Jai hates Bani, but as time passes by both Bani and Jai fall in love with each other. Bani gets pregnant but finds out that Jai killed her mother. The baby dies and she later finds out that her mother herself wanted to commit suicide. Pia on the other hand leaves Pushkar, having aborted his child and goes after Jai Walia. She gets pregnant with his child. Rano meanwhile marries Sahil (Jai's nephew). Sahil dies and Pia says she will tell everyone that Bani killed him if she wouldn't listen to her commands. Bani doesn't obey Pia's conditions, and Pia tells on her. After hearing what Pia said about Bani, Walia's throw Bani into a mental asylum and take away the twins she has, Krishna and Atharva. Bani is rescued by Aparajit Dev and decides to take revenge on her family. Meanwhile bombs explode where Bani is and the family believes that she is dead. From there, five years later Bani is known as Durga Das Gupta. In getting revenge she realizes that Pia was the one who did all this and the family is back together. An insane man Daksh calms down on seeing Bani and Jai ends up thinking they had an affair. Daksh recovers and Bani finds out Daksh married her long lost twin sister, who died and that is why he was mentally ill for so long. But assuming Bani is having an affair, Jai throws her out of the house. Bani and her aunt-in-law live in a village where Bani gives birth to Jai's daughter Ganga. Five years later, Bani meets Meera, Jai's new wife who seems nice. Ganga has cancer and to save her, Bani has to have a baby and thus the misunderstanding clears. Krishna and Atharva are reborn. Bani tries to find out (with the help of Pia, now good) who killed her children but she finds out too late that Meera did everything and blamed it on Jigyasa. Meera lights Bani on fire. She has plastic surgery and memory loss. Now known as Pronita, she lives in Calcutta for sixteen years later with her adoptive father. She regains her concious and tries to save her kids, whom Meera has led astray. Now knowing all the truth, Pronita (Bani) and Jigyasa work together to take revenge from Meera. In addition to taking revenge from Meera, Pronita also tries to gain her kids (Krishna, Vicky (Atharva), and other family members trust.
