Revision as of 20:13, 10 January 2002
Add links to stupid, incorrect, or otherwise unwanted page titles to the list below so an admin person can find them, check to see that they are indeed not legitimate pages, and delete them. If the content of a page-to-be-deleted exists on some different page, please indicate that, somehow, on the page-to-be-deleted (either by redirecting it to the correctly titled page, or, better for our purposes, putting in a link to it). To facilitate checking that a "page title to be deleted" really ought to be deleted, please don't redirect such pages to page titles to be deleted.
Please review Wikipedia policy on permanent deletion of pages before adding to this page. In the past, about half of the titles added to this page were not deleted. In particular, do not add article names to this list that might in the future become articles. There's no reason to delete those. Also, please don't list pages on this page that can easily and sensibly be redirected to another page. E.g., a page called Hume can be easily and sensibly redirected to David Hume; presidant (a misspelling) can be redirected to president; etc. (Even misspellings can be caught by search engines and provide Wikipedia perfectly relevant traffic!)
Pages definitely to be deleted
These pages never contained any real content and therefore must be deleted. This also includes dictionary definitions that couldn't be expanded upon, etc.
- Stevie Wonder is God - joke article
- WikiIsNotAnEncyclopedia - blank
- The Balloon-Hoax/Page2 - In this and the preceeding article, someone dumped the complete text of these works of fiction into Wikipedia and they slopped over onto these "page 2"s. The text has been removed, but these empty pages remain.
- FeudalisM -- stubby duplicate page for an article that exists elsewhere
- Marilyn Manson/Bible speech-someone typed out a full speech, but it was deleted due to copyright. the page is blank now.
- PHrOzEn cReW - only delete this page, not the page its re-directed to.
- WMA - no content
- DAL - "Describe the new page here. Dalby" isn't much of a content
- Boris the crazy Russian - a redirect to a non-existent page.
- Drunkeness -- not really an article title and has two ens (n) anyway!
- Sudden Creationism - a made-up term
- The weather in Minnesota - was used as an example of a page that didn't exist; some smart aleck created it. :)
- Pole Position random letters
- Phil Bond random letters
- Death of a Hero - no content
- Belgium/Koninkrijk - serves no obvious purpose
- Warts - no content.

- Wikipedians pub - nonsense by a visitor
- Barman - more nonsense by the same visitor
- Intelligent form - yet more nonsense by the same visitor
- adamw - no content (note case!)
- TaoTehChingTalk - apparently very old, and unrelated to any current page
- Private key - says only "nguyenbaothuyen"
The following pages have typos of some sort in them.
- Federated_States_of_Micronesia/Transport -- mistake (I missed "ation" off the end of the name)
- Hexamter - typo
- Narrow Guage - typo in title We may want to leave it, based on #4 on Wikipedia policy on permanent deletion of pages.
- Standard Guage - typo
- Ursual K. le Guin - typo in title.
- North America Free Trade Act - incorrect page title. Redirected to North American Free Trade Agreement
- Super_Bowl/III - moved subpage content to real entry (Probably don't need to delete--redirected.
- Ursula K. Le Guin. We may want to leave it, based on #4 on Wikipedia policy on permanent deletion of pages.
- Standard Guage - mispelling; content moved to correctly spelt Standard Gauge.
- John Abercromrie - this should have been titled John Abercrombie.
- Veggie - this contained a stupid definition.
- Gilbert Arbott a Beckett - typo in title: it's "Abbott"
- Theif - Misspelled, and redone with more proper name (Thief video game) so this one should go, please (I'll redirect).
- Cyri of Jerusalem - typo of Cyril of Jerusalem.
- McNaghten rule - should have been plural, currently redirects to plural (probably keep as redirect)

Pages that probably need to be deleted
These pages did at one time have some content, but either it was deemed inappropriate for Wikipedia or was already stated somewhere else.
- Alls Well That Ends Well--Text -- This contained a raw text dump of the entire play, not really an appropriate encyclopedia article. Commentary on the play should go in Alls Well That Ends Well instead of here, I'm changing the link from the William Shakespeare page to reflect this.
- Campaign Against Covert Action -- an old piece of Wikipedia history, content moved to Historical Wikipedia Pages/Campaign Against Covert Action.
- Claude Oscar Monet/Talk - Talk page says master should be redirect, and it is.
- MIPS Corporation - never existed, should have been MIPS Computer Systems, Inc.
- Three Laws Of Al Gore and Three Laws Of Al Gore/Talk - stupid joke
- BiblicalInterpretation Poorly written, with no content. Do any articles actually link to it? This is far too vague for an entry, unless someone has something specific in mind to put here.
- Befehlshaber der Unterseeboote - title inappropriate title for an English wikipedia.
- Wikipedia utilities/Proofreader - an unused, and I would guess unworkable, idea.
- Quran of Iblis/Surah 2 - either source text or original writing, no evidence found for this "Quran of Satan" document which it is presenting the text of.
- Feminism Debate/Talk and Feminism Debate - abuse of the purpose of Wikipedia.
- Re Kevin - validity of marriage of transsexual - a good article in the wrong place - moved to Legal aspects of transsexualism.
- Color Talk/Red, also various other "color talk" pages. -- Duplicate info which is currently on pages of individual colors and better left there.
- Cow story - silliness
- Eep -- silliness, moved to Bad jokes
- Dimensional_analysis/comments - there is already a Talk page
- Fundamental_dimensions/Forum - there is already a Talk page
- Fundamental_dimensions/Comments - there is already a Talk page
- Peace treaty with Israel is a temporary measure - propaganda. Maybe it should be moved somewhere else, but, right now, its abusing the purpose of Wikipedia.
- Parejas-amigas - someone thought Wikipedia would be a good place to set up a website for his IRC channel.
- Usuarios - part of the above
- Pargalega - ditto
- AUM related to the American Union of Men entry; superfluous
- German names of places taken by Poland - ok, IMHO, this is a stupid page. It cannot be NPOV by virtue of the title. It is just another step in the ever-increasingly silly Prussian axe-grinder war with Poland. Jimbo and Tim, please make it disappear!!!
- HelL - someones advertisement for a book or something.
- MORE DETAILED DISCUSSION OF THE FALSE CLAIMS ACT - intergrated into another page. plus, title is strange
- ALittleLuck - looks like an old wikipedian page, but isn't listed on Wikipedians
- TestThreePhasePumps - no real encyclopedia content
- TestingThreePhaseSupply - content of this page and the following two are much too detailed for an encyclopedia
- TestingMotorCoilResistance
- TestingEarthFaultResistance
All of the following were involved in a massive rename and redirect...
- Masculist Trinity one guy's pet theory
- QIM Tunes more of the pet theory
- American Union of Men yet more of the pet theory
- Tom Smith the last of it, I think
Following entries have been collected under one article for simplicity, probably keep as redirects:
