Alessandra Rosaldo is not only a multi-talented young actress, singer and exceptional dancer; she is also a top-rated and best known celebrity in the Latin scene all over the USA, as well as in her native country, Mexico and many countries in Latin America. This is, among other reasons, because in 2006 she was the undisputed and all-the-way non-defeated winner of the first prize in the most watched program in the history of Univision Network, “Dancing for a Dream”, the Latin version of “Dancing with the Stars” created by Mexican television, where she originally won the prize.

As an actress, she has played main and supporting roles and has been awarded for them, in Mexican TV’s soap operas which are exported to 140 countries in the world and as a singer, she has sold over 4 million records in the Spanish-speaking world as the lead singer of her own pop music band “Sentidos Opuestos” as well in her solo singer career.

Biography

Alessandra has always been surrounded by music and acting. At age 12, she started participating in choirs and she even starred in a children's movie. At age 19 she met with Chacho Gaytán at an airport, since then they've become great friends. Years later Miguel Blasco proposed that they should form a trio of which would be formed by Chacho, Alessandra and another member. Later they would be known as Sentidos Opuestos. In 2008, she became host of a new game show on the Telefutura television network called Dame la Pista which is now cancelled.

Career

Singing

1984-1990 - Studio singer for several producers. Singing back-ups and lead parts for jingles, recording artists and advertising.(Age 13 to19)

1989-1992 - Back-up singer in concerts on tour throughout Latin America with top pop singer Lucero and top rap group Calo.

1992-2001 - Lead singer in dance-pop duo SENTIDOS OPUESTOS, a Duo formed by her and partner keyboard player and arranger Chacho Gaytan, that became Mexico's top pop duo for almost a decade recording for EMI Music Mexico and selling over 4 million records.

1999 - Became Spanish language singing voice of Jessie(Woody's best friend)in the blockbuster movie Toy Story II for the Spanish-speaking world. Worked for PIXAR and DISNEY character voices.

2002-2004 - Pop recording artist for EMI Music Mexico.

2003-2004 - Female singer assigned to perform the title-song of the soap opera Amarte es mi Pecado, for Televisa and EMI Music Mexico.

2004-2005 - Female singer assigned to perform the title-song of the soap opera [[Sueños y Caramelos[[, for Televisa.
