Orphaned non-free image File:Disney-music-group.gif

⚠
Thanks for uploading File:Disney-music-group.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

PLEASE NOTE:

I advise that you use the Show Preview button in order so that you don't clog the page histories with your minor edits (Like with Nintendo: Five edits, all consisting of linking to other articles or adding/removing a parenthesis). Thanks. TheStickMan[✆Talk] 04:06, 29 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Bay of Pigs Invasion

Hi, Damirgraffiti. I'm pleased to see that you are open to discussion and learning, and I thought I'd just like to suggest a bit of advice about your contributions to the BoPI article. Generally in WP, external links within the text body of articles are deprecated. I have tweaked your stuff to show one method whereby this can be handled differently (though there's similar work to do to other citations sometime). It also removes the need for a separate link in 'External links'. Also tweaked the content to fit the general style. I have been mostly concerned with the main events and the organisation of the article, but other watching editors may have alternative takes on media and political comments, so they might jump in also. Best wishes.PeterWD (talk) 09:45, 24 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Some apologies - I mistook you for another contributor. Regret, we have previously removed all pop culture stuff from this serious article. See history pages, also WP:POPCULTURE.PeterWD (talk) 10:17, 24 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi I saw your question on how to make user boxes, it is all explained at Wikipedia:Userboxes. If you get stuck drop me a note! - Ahunt (talk) 13:52, 24 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your userboxes

Just to make you aware, you are displaying userboxes that you are not entitled to display; namely, Edit filter manager, Confirmed user, and Reviewer. You do not have any of these permissions. Pol430 talk to me 15:46, 27 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

March 2011

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article All of the Lights, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Dan56 (talk) 02:56, 2 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The image you added to All of the Lights does not meet some requirements of Wikipedia:Non-free content criteria, particularly whether or not "Could the subject be adequately conveyed by text without using the non-free content at all". The screenshot is of a discretionary warning for an alternate version of the video already noted in the section. Nor is it that notable to the article's "music video" section, let alone the article in general. Usually, one screenshot suffices in WP:Song articles' music video subsections. The image of the warning is not necessary. Dan56 (talk) 03:30, 2 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Question

I have a question...

What makes you think I was trying to vandalize anything?

All I did was try to tighten things up a bit...trying to cut down run-on sentences, cut out some needless info, and clean things up a bit.

No malice was intended, thus no need to hit me with a warning.

Thank you.

Your recent edits

Damir, I am a little troubled by some of your recent edits, specifically your reversions using Twinkle. You have labeled edits as vandalism that were not vandalism per the vandalism policy. Whilst some of these reversions could have been more accurately labeled, others should (arguably) not have been reverted at all. See below:

  • Here you reverted date tagging by Smackbot, and labled it vandalism. You then did the same thing again in this edit.
  • In this diff you reverted 23 edits by an IP and labled it vandalism, but I can see no evidence of vandalism, perhaps some unsourced content, but the edits were largely constructive.
  • You also incorrectly labeled this edit as vandalism, and this one

With respect I think you should attempt to garner some more experience editing in other areas of wikipedia before engaging in vandal fighting with Twinkle. You may also want to have a good read of WP:VANDAL and WP:DISRUPT. You may also want to have a read of this section of the CVU page. Pol430 talk to me 18:09, 2 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Damirgraffiti. You have new messages at Pol430's talk page.

I reverted your addition of the screenshot. Music videos are copyrighted, and per WP:NFCC, we have to be careful how we use them, rathr than jsut for aesthetic illustration. Adabow (talk · contribs) 04:08, 6 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 22:10, 6 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
