New Jersey's 14th Legislative District is one of 40 in the state, covering the Mercer County municipalities of East Windsor Township, Hamilton Township, Hightstown Borough and Robbinsville Township; and the Middlesex County municipalities of Cranbury Township, Jamesburg Borough, Monroe Township, Plainsboro Township, Spotswood Borough as of the 2011 apportionment.[1]

As of the 2010 United States Census, the district had a population of 230,937, of whom 176,857 (76.6%) were of voting age.[2] The district had 141,097 registered voters as of November 2013, of whom 69,338 (49.1%) were registered as Unaffiliated, 46,381 (32.9%) were registered as Democrats, 25,280 (17.9%) were registered as Republicans and 98 (0.1%) were registered to other parties.[3]

Political representation

The district is represented for the 2014-2015 Legislative Session in the State Senate by Linda R. Greenstein (D, Plainsboro Township and in the General Assembly by Daniel R. Benson (D, Hamilton Township, Mercer County) and Wayne DeAngelo (D, Hamilton Township).[4][5]
