Can we hat?

Hi, I added a comment pointing to what I think is a prior and open thread on the same point that you raise. Although you didn't say so, its clear from context that you are equating global warming with the trend of global mean surface temperature (GMST). There is a current consensus that the article topic is broader than that. DHeyward wants to change that consensus and has a thread open on point. I posted a cross link to his thread at the end of the thread you started. Would it be ok with you, if pursuant to WP:MULTI we WP:HAT the thread you started and take up your remaining input in the other one that is already open? Thanks for comments and please keep them coming

Thanks very much for investing energy and time contributing thoughts on efforts to draft a new first lead paragraph for Global warming. Please note I just posted ver 5 of my idea, and would welcome further pro/con criticism. I'm attempting to ping everyone who has taken time to speak up after past versions. If I overlooked anyone, please let me know. NewsAndEventsGuy (talk) 19:12, 18 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Matthew Parris edit

It's not clear to me why you took out the Matthew Parris cyclist controversy paragraph. I was referred to the "Previous Talk Page". What page is this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Geekpie (talkcontribs) 18:14, 3 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Vladimir Lenin shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. --Guy Macon (talk) 16:50, 11 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
