Gary A. Wales (born September 29, 1995) is a Scottish actor. He is an actor, director, and producer, known for his work in the short film, 2Late, and in short films such as Zombie Formal Queen, Cooped, An Actor Prepares, Love Bites and the television series Game of Thrones.

Early life

Born in Falkirk, Scotland on 29 September 1995, Gary lived in Bo'Ness, a town on the outskirts of Falkirk when he was growing up. At the age of 13 he moved to Armagh, Northern Ireland and went to City of Armagh High School, where his interest in Performing Arts began. In 2012, after graduating, he went to Southern Regional College where Performing Arts Level 2 and 3 beckoned.

Career

In 2008 Gary’s acting debut was in Oliver! the musical. He starred in Grease, the musical three years later in 2011 and in various musicals before "6 Degrees," a sitcom, followed by appearances in Season 6 of Game of Thrones and several movies. He is a director and producer as well, most notably on 2Late, one of his short films. Gary also maintains his presence on the internet and interacts with fans on sites Instagram and Twitter. He has a following of more than ten thousand on both Instagram and Facebook, with over forty thousand on Twitter. He enjoys a great deal of charity volunteering in various countries around the world, including Cancer Research UK, NOH8, Marie Curie charities and others. From these activities it is clear he driven by a heartfelt need to help those less fortunate.

At 7:00am (GMT) on Monday 24 October 2016 he began his twenty four hour broadcast online to raise funds for the "Stand Up To Cancer" campaign.

Personal life

Gary Wales’ favourite childhood film was The Lion King. He is the eldest of 5 siblings.[1]
