Ciara Alice Brady is a fictional character from Days of Our Lives, an American soap opera on the NBC network, currently portrayed by Victoria Konefal. The character was born onscreen in December 2006 and first appeared onscreen on February 15, 2007. Ciara is the youngest child of supercouple Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) and Hope Williams (Kristian Alfonso). At the time of her conception, Bo and Hope are grieving the death of their death Zack. The role was portrayed by twin siblings Dakoda and Danica Hobbs from 2007 to 2008. Child actress Lauren Boles took over the role on May 21, 2008. Boles appeared on a recurring basis until September 30, 2015. The character was rapidly aged with Vivian Jovanni stepping into the role of the teenage Ciara on October 30, 2015. Like her mother, Ciara is named after Hope's grandmother Alice Horton (Frances Reid). In 2016, Jovanni left the series and last aired on May 26, 2017. In the summer of 2017, it was announced that Victoria Konefal had been cast as Ciara. Konefal made her debut on December 1, 2017.

Ciara's most significant plots include grieving the loss of her father Bo, her friendship and brief romance with Theo Carver (Kyler Pettis) and her rape at the hands of her stepbrother Chase Jennings (Jonathan McClendon). Upon her reintroduction in December 2017, Ciara falls for Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) while she clashes with her niece Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan).

Storylines

In early 2006, Bo and Hope are devastated when their son Zack is killed after a hit-and-run. The family is further torn apart when Patrick Lockhart (Brody Hutzler) uncovers that Bo's daughter Chelsea (Rachel Melvin) was the driver and Bo covered for her. When Hope is led to believe that Bo has reunited with Chelsea's mother Billie Reed (Julie Pinson), she runs off to Morgan Island where she bonds with Patrick. When Bo unexpectedly agrees to a divorce, Patrick and Hope make love in May 2006. Hope soon learns she is pregnant and according to a DNA test, Patrick is the father. Bo and Hope reconcile when it is revealed that he did not steal police evidence to keep Chelsea out of jail. However, Patrick wants to pursue a relationship with Hope. Meanwhile, Patrick gets Bo fired from the police force when he frames him for assault. Patrick only agrees to drop the charges against Bo if Hope leaves town with him. Patrick is reveals plans to kill Hope after she gives birth when she goes into labor and Bo comes to her rescue. Bo helps Hope deliver her daughter and Patrick reveals that Bo is the girl's father as he is carted off to prison.[1]
