Olivia Colman is an American actress who has received various awards and nominations, including: . In 2011 she began receiving critical acclair for her performance in the drama film Tyrannosaur and was nominated for the Satellite Award for Best Actress – Motion Picture and was nominated for Best Actress at the British Independent Film Awards. From 2013 to 2017 she starred in the serial crime drama television series Broadchurch for which she won Best Actress at the British Academy Television Awards and was nominated for Best Actress at the International Emmy Awards. For her performance in the AMC/BBC miniseries The Night Manager, she won the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress – Series, Miniseries or Television Film and was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie. She has colaborated twice with Yorgos Lanthimos, first in The Lobster for which she won the BIFA Award for Best Supporting Actress and second in The Favourite portraying Anne, Queen of Great Britain. For her performance in the latter she won the Volpi Cup for Best Actress and several nominations for awards including the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Motion Picture Comedy or Musical, the Satellite Award for Best Actress – Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical and the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role.
