Afsar Shahidi Afsar Shahid ([1]) was an Iranian pop singer who was born in Kazerun. In the beginning of 1970s she gained popularity through singing local folk songs in Shiraz. Afsar Shahidi became a national success as her songs were broadcast in the program Golchin-e Hafte on national radio (Radio Sarasari). Subsequently, she moved to Tehran and performed one of her most famous songs Separation on the program Parviz Gharib Afshar on national Iranian television.
Her albums include "Temple of love", "Separation", "Rhymes of home land" and "Flight".
