Breakthrough with Dr. Steve Perry is a planned American talk show hosted by Dr. Steve Perry, who founded the nonprofit Capital Preparatory Schools which runs charter schools, and comments on CNN and MSNBC and writes for Essence. Perry will counsel guests who have problems or important decisions to make, using "a mix of tough love and humor." It will air for two weeks in January 2019 on Fox-owned stations. If it is successful, it is expected to become a series.[1]
