== Minor misspelling in [[Henry Lerolle]] == |
|||
Hello! In March of last year you created the [[Henry Lerolle]] article, and in [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Henry_Lerolle&diff=201623947&oldid=201599524 this edit] added the phrase "He painted ''Flight into '''Eygpt''''', ...". I know that I really should just fix what is almost certainly a typo without troubling you, but I did a quick web search and while I get a hundred or so hits with "Henry Lerolle" "Flight into Eygpt" (perhaps most propagated from Wikipedia), when I correct the spelling of "Egypt" I only get six hits, none of them tying "Henry Lerolle" to a painting of this name. ("Flight into Eygpt" is, of course, a common painting name.) |
|||
So, I thought I would leave it to you to either fix it as an obvious typo or to check with your references. Thanks. |

Hi J, thanks for creating that nice article on Balieff. I have a question about this: "One of his most popular acts, 'The Parade of the Wooden Soldiers,' referenced a story regarding Tsar Paul I. The legend claims the Tsar left his parade grounds without issuing a 'halt' order to the marching soldiers. Without one, the soldiers marched to Siberia before being remembered and ordered back." Do you have any substantiation of this (that the choreography referenced or depicted this supposed legend of Tsar Paul I)? I've re-used this information in two other articles, and I'd like to know if it's true and verifiable -- say, from GoogleBooks or somewhere. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks. Disputed non-free use rationale for File:WalterDavisIllumination.jpg
Thank you for uploading File:WalterDavisIllumination.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Stefan2 (talk) 22:15, 19 February 2016 (UTC)
