The alleged "cover art" for both of the video game subsections are just a picture of a Chester Cheetah mascot costume. I'm new to Wikipedia and thus don't know how to flag the article as having incorrect info. [[User:Murnjendoof|Murnjendoof]] ([[User talk:Murnjendoof|talk]]) 03:46, 19 August 2021 (UTC) |

I removed the following text: |

The character Chester Cheetah was in fact created at the advertising agency DDB Needham Worldwide in their Chicago office. Several of the original commercials were produced in Japen with the the creator spending several weeks on site in Japen. |

I tried to find any additional sources for the claim about being produced in Japan, but wasn't able to find them. I would love to get a more definitive answer on this than 1 NYT link and one reference to Unwrapped, but haven't found it yet. |

Accent?
"In this incarnation, Chester speaks with a European accent and encourages people to use their Cheetos in acts of revenge or to solve problems"
It doesn't sound like a European accent at all. 207.237.41.202 (talk) 08:35, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
- Not to mention that there are hundreds of languages and thousands of dialects in Europe. There's no such thing as a "European accent." 161.11.130.249 (talk) 19:22, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
Species
If you’re going to change the species to “Cheeto” you can’t say it’s a typo. You need a citation of some kind for that claim. Ivey (talk) 23:23, 23 July 2021 (UTC)
