If there are no official sources saying that he was the Sorcerer Supreme, I would suggest removing this statement. I also checked Marvel Wiki and MCU Wiki -- they both say that Stephen Strange was indeed the Sorcerer Supreme, but (as far as I see), they only pointed to those two movies as their sources (Doctor Strange and No Way Home), which don't really seem to confirm that (unless I missed something). --[[User:Daniel Carrero|Daniel Carrero]] ([[User talk:Daniel Carrero|talk]]) 12:27, 13 May 2022 (UTC) |

Re: "Helping Peter Parker"
There is some speculation making the rounds that the "Stephen Strange" we see in the trailers is (drumroll, please), actually Mephisto in disguise. We should be careful about asserting what is happening in the forthcoming film in advance of its opening. BD2412 T 16:57, 27 August 2021 (UTC)
- Actually, that section shouldn't exist at all until the film is released. InfiniteNexus (talk) 17:01, 27 August 2021 (UTC)
- At this rate we'll need to create a Mephisto (Marvel Cinematic Universe) article detailing all his non-appearances. Hiding the section for now. IronManCap (talk) 17:14, 27 August 2021 (UTC)
- In the end it will be revealed that the entire MCU is just a dream that Mephisto is having. BD2412 T 18:57, 27 August 2021 (UTC)
- Sounds plausible. IronManCap (talk) 19:18, 27 August 2021 (UTC)
- A few days ago I read "Mysterio" as "Mephisto". Mephisto is clearly in NWH!!!!!! — ChannelSpider (talk) 21:02, 27 August 2021 (UTC)

Strange-Supreme, with a hyphen.
The end credits of "What If... the Watcher Broke His Oath?", with the white text against a black screen, have Benedict Cumberbatch credited as "Dr. Stephen Strange / Strange-Supreme", with a hyphen between Strange and Supreme. Dealmaces (talk) 21:57, 8 October 2021 (UTC)
Sorcerer Supreme
At the end of Doctor Strange (2016), Wong said: "Earth has no Sorcerer Supreme to defend it." And later in Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), Stephen said: "[Wong] got it on a technicality, 'cause I blipped for five years." So it looks like Stephen Strange was never the Sorcerer Supreme, right? (at least not in the main timeline of the MCU)
This Wikipedia article currently says that he was the Sorcerer Supreme before Wong, so where is the source for that statement? Maybe this is said in some other movie I missed, or maybe in some interview or in some MCU canon comic? (Or maybe are people just assuming that Stephen was the Sorcerer Supreme because it seems like he deserves it, even though this was never really said in the movies?)
If there are no official sources saying that he was the Sorcerer Supreme, I would suggest removing this statement.
