November 2022

Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:

  • Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
  • State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
  • Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.

Request reason:

I am very disappointed that my account has been blocked now. It's heartbreaking because I love wikipedia editing as I can contribute a lot in the subject of cinema and sports. Anyway let me confirm that, I am not into any advertising or promotion for anyone and I am not a paid editor to anyone and I have really followed the guidelines to avoid COI editing, even though I work in film Industry. I humbly request to unblock me, so that I can continue editing wikipedia, a love of my life.Rajeshbieee (talk) 09:39, 11 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

If you work in the Indian film industry, and you are editing about the Indian film industry, you have not avoided COI editing. You will need to tell us what the nature of your work in the film industry is, you could still be a paid editor even if you are not specifically paid or asked to edit. You will also need to describe how you should make COI related contributions instead of directly. 331dot (talk) 10:04, 11 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

@331dot

  • I am working as an actor as well as Assistant director in films and I have n't created a page (or edited) the films that I have worked. I am surprised about the line, "you could still be a paid editor even if you are not specifically paid or asked to edit". In this case, how can I be a wikipedia editor? Am I supposed to leave working in film industry to make me free from paid/promotional editing accusation..? After the last unblock of my account, I have created almost 100 pages and I have taken atmost care to create those pages following wikipedia guidelines.

The answer to, how make a COI related contribution is; "I should propose changes on the subject's talk page for the same". I hope the concerned people will understand and unblock me, so that I can continue editing, or it will give me mental agony as I love editing wikipedia.Rajeshbieee (talk) 17:30, 11 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You will need to make another unblock request for someone else to review. If your mental state depends on your ability to edit Wikipedia, I might suggest you seek professional help, for your own sake. 331dot (talk) 17:51, 11 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

As I have already mentioned, I confirm once again that, I am not into any advertising or promotion for anyone and I am not a paid editor to anyone. Please note that, after the last unblock of my account, I have created almost 100 pages and I have taken atmost care to create those pages following wikipedia guidelines. Hope someone will understand the same and unblock me. Rajeshbieee (talk) 18:27, 11 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Noting that the "care" taken presumably includes their work at Double XL, where they created an article for the film, cited three negative reviews to establish notability, and then neglected to actually mention the negative reception in the article. signed, Rosguill talk 18:38, 11 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This user is asking that his block be reviewed:

Rajeshbieee (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I watched the film Double XL and when I checked its wiki page, I found that the page has been redirected after the title page creation. So I removed the redirect and updated details. That's it and I don't know how it became a target to block me and what's the mistake I have done in that page..? This has now became a habit to blame me for some other's work. If this is the case, what's the point in my effort in creating pages following wikipedia guidelines? Why should I prove my innocence everytime and why I am the target..? Atleast people should have checked the last 90+ pages to check my work. This is really disappointing. As I have already mentioned, I confirm once again that, I am not into any advertising or promotion for anyone and I am not a paid editor to anyone. Please unblock me.Rajeshbieee (talk) 02:57, 12 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
