Sameera Khan is an American model, journalist and social influencer. She is the former winner of the Miss New Jersey beauty pageant,[notes 1] a former reporter for the Russian television channel RT, and a current social media personality known for promoting "anti-woke" views and conspiracy theories.
RT career and departure
In 2018, while a reporter for the Russian state-sponsored network RT, Khan made a series of tweets glorifying Josef Stalin and the Soviet gulag system and calling for the return of his governance style. Khan was harshly criticized for expressing these views, including by RT itself, and the controversy led to her apologizing and leaving the network. [1][2]
