I have reverted all your changes to Star Trek: First Contact and Star Trek: Insurrection. Unlike Generations, these two films were marketed with the colon, and so moving them would be improper; secondly, cut-and-paste moves are prohibited due to Wikipedia's content licensing policies; see WP:MOVE for instructions on how to properly do one in the future.
Thanks for uploading :File:Jun natsukawa.jpeg. I noticed the description page specifies that this media item is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails the first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media item could be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media item is not replaceable, please:

# Go to the file description page and edit it to add di-replaceable fair use disputed, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
# On the file discussion page, write the reason why this media item is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on <span class="plainlinks">[ this link]</span>. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. <!-- Template:di-replaceable fair use-notice --> VernoWhitney (talk) 22:23, 28 January 2013 (UTC)

Vilnisr, I saw your post at User talk:AnomieBOT. I'm unaware how Anomie handles stale threads, so I'm posting directly here. You can use this code instead of Show by date, which solves your problem:

Show by date

Hello, Vilnisr. You have new messages at Jimp's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the Talkback or Tb template.

Regarding show by date, not sure when I'll get to work on adding another parameter. But in the meantime you should be able to get the effect by "nesting" the template, to show a particular text for only one date (or perhaps for only a range of dates):

results in
Today is after 25 April 2010
The trick is to start with an instance of the target date, then in the "after" parameter, use another show by date to select between the target date and the after date. However, concur that an exact-date parameter would be a good extension, but in a way which doesn't disrupt the existing parameter order (might have to be a named parameter such as "showondate="). Hope this helps. Dl2000 (talk) 20:10, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This picture looked great in the userbox. Could you try re-uploading it under non free logos with a note that you created it. Thanks --Alpha Quadrant (talk) 4:07 pm, Today (UTC−5)

only free images can be used un userbox, i'm afraid they will not allow to use it that wayVilnisr (talk) 14:36, 9 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi

Hey you edited (or at the very least joined) my stargate wiki. Just letting you know, if you didn't that it moved to an independent server http://stargate-wiki.org/ and i was wondering if you wanted to join and edit. I could use more new users to help drive up edits and to shove in teh face of vandals. Let me know (as account creation on the wiki is disabled for now) - Escyos — Preceding unsigned comment added by 150.203.223.101 (talk) 03:06, 4 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, i could do that! Vilnisr T | C 08:56, 5 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Show by date solution

Vilnisr, I saw your post at User talk:AnomieBOT. I'm unaware how Anomie handles stale threads, so I'm posting directly here. You can use this code instead of Show by date, which solves your problem:

This one is easier to use :) but in other way i don't see a difference, if i will use this template, it also will get "expired", they both are "show and hide" templates – Vilnisr T | C 07:03, 4 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Stargate

Why do you say my edit is incorrect? (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Stargate&oldid=prev&diff=921024702) The stylization of the word Stargate has the A looking like a lambda with a ring above. It's visible in the graphic on the same page. My edit adds the ring to the lambda. Your edit removes it. Can you elaborate on why you think the ring should be removed? Hixie (talk) 03:12, 15 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I know about stargate stilization and you are right about "lambda with a ring above", but it is impossible to do it here without replacing letter with an image. It puts ring far away from lambda so it looks incorrect. I will not revert edit, but its my opinion.– Vilnisr T | C 04:14, 15 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
