Zadibal is a notified area in the municipality of Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. It is one of the 87 constituencies in Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly in India administered union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It is located about 6 km towards the north of the commercial Centre of Kashmir - Lalchowk.[1] [2]Zadibal is mostly inhabited by Shia Muslim. It is famous for the oldest Imambara of Kashmir(Imambara Zadibal), located in the center of Zadibal.[3]

Geography

Zadibal is located 34°06′36″N 74°48′11″E / 34.109862°N 74.803087°E / 34.109862; 74.803087 6 km (3.7 mi) towards North from district headquarters in Srinagar. The area is bounded by Nowshera towards North, Hawal and Nowhatta towards South, Lal Bazar and Badamwari towards East and Khushal Sar Lake towards West.[4]
