Bidupur is a community development block in Vaishali district in the Indian state of Bihar.[3] The main Post office is Bidupur. Bidupur is one of the 16 blocks of Vaishali. Kacchi dargah-Bidupur bridge will become largest bridge of India in 2024. Bidupur is fastest developing after Hajipur in vaishali.[4] There are 116 villages in Bidupur block.[5]
History
Bidupur is a place of historical importance. One of Gautam Buddha's disciple Anand has got parinirvana here.There is a bhinda in Madhurapur where many things of ancient history have been found. Many early paintings, scriptures, stones are there. Every year after Durga Puja a mela and kirtan is organised remembering Anand. The kashthariya mandir in Bidupur is also a place of historical importance. There have been plans to expand Patna to Greater Patna, which would entail absorbing Bidupur.

Nearest Station of Bidupur is Akshaywat Rai Nagar Station, station code (AYRN) in the Sonpur railway division of East Central Railway. Public transportation is provided for by buses, auto rickshaws and local trains. BSRTC has started city bus service on Bidupur via Hajipur.
