The Ricardo Fernandes Gallery (French: Galerie Ricardo Fernandes) is a contemporary art gallery located in Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine, greater Paris region, inaugurated in 2008 by Brazilian art curator Ricardo Fernandes.

The gallery presents mainly solo shows and a few collective exhibitions yearly. It is located inside the Marché Dauphine, which is part of the Paris/Saint-Ouen Flea Market.

Location

The Ricardo Fernandes Gallery[1] is located inside the Marché Dauphine,[2] which is part of the Paris/Saint-Ouen Flea Market, one of largest flea markets in the world. Marché Dauphine is an antique, modern and contemporary market hall with design, art, fashion, music, cultural shops, and art galleries.

History

Ricardo Fernandes Gallery was founded in June 2008 by Ricardo Fernandes in Paris, France. Fernandes has been the managing director of the gallery since its start. The basic purpose of the gallery is the promotion and trade of contemporary art, art advisory, art evaluation, and art appraisal.

The gallery has collaborated with the Qingdao Sculpture Art Museum and The JISP Sculpture Park of Shanghai, both in China. Also to the residence program for the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, France, The French National Library (Bibliothèque nationale de France), and it has organized exhibitions and promoting contemporary art in all its levels, selecting and curating artists to specific art projects, creating scenography and helping in all aspects of different projects.
