It should be told along these lines:

Online news service Thomson Reuters Foundation News was relaunched as Context News in September 2022. The online news service -- with a self-declared mandate to focus on climate change, the impact of technology on society and the need for more inclusive economies -- operates under the umbrella of the Thomson Reuters Foundation, which is the charitable arm of Thomson Reuters.

Before it became Context, from 2013 it was known as Thomson Reuters Foundation News.

Its earliest incarnation launched under Reuters in 1997, before the news agency was absorbed by Thomson Reuters, was a humanitarian website known as AlertNet, designed to provide news, connect and support aid workers in the Global South.

In 2010, AlertNet underwent a relaunch, became Thomson Reuters Foundation News and covered what it referred to as "under-reported stories" that revolved around aid, development, women's rights, human trafficking, property rights, climate change, and resilience.
