The articles states "Over a recent three-hour discussion in his office, Mr. Chang made it clear that he identifies as American - he obtained his U.S. citizenship in 1962..." Morris Chang only holds one nationality: United States. Morris Chang was employed by the R.O.C. government to build the semiconductor industry but never obtained a dual nationality. Morris Chang, founder of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, holds only one (1) citizenship: United States. Similar to Jensen Huang, co-founder of Nvidia, Morris Chang is an American businessman, NOT an American-Taiwanese businessman or Taiwanese-American businessman. Morris Chang was employed by the R.O.C. government to build the semiconductor industry for Taiwan. As per Morris Chang's References [3] Paragraph 10: "Mr. Morris Chang made it clear that he identifies as American - he obtained his U.S. citizenship in 1962..." The problem is that there seems to be multiple different answers on the internet. Chinese, Taiwanese, American or a mix of them. Even if he says he identifies as a American, that doesn't mean he hasn't other citizenships. You edit-warring to change it falls under Wikipedia:Righting Great Wrongs, which not seen as a good thing here. Nobody (talk) 09:41, 28 May 2024 (UTC)

Please provide at least a valid/verified source that Morris Chang is a Taiwanese or holds the R.O.C./Taiwan citizenship. Believe me: nowhere because it is never proved, because Morris Chang is never a Taiwanese. The R.O.C. government recruited Morris Chang (an American) to build the semiconductor industry for Taiwan. Another article in Taiwan (see below) stating the fact the the R.O.C./Taiwan government has come forward to correct the inaccurate information that Morris Chang is a Taiwanese.
