Revision as of 02:59, 17 June 2024
The 2024–25 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier is an ongoing cricket tournament that forms part of the qualification process for the 2026 ICC Men's T20 World Cup.
In this cycle, a total of thirty teams are participating in the sub-regional phase. This phase is divided into three events with ten teams competing in each event, which are being held between June and August 2024.[1] Qualifier A was played in Italy from 9 to 16 June 2024.[2] Qualifier B will be held in Germany from 7 to 14 July 2024.[3] Qualifier C will be held in Guernsey from 21 to 28 August 2024.[4][5]
The hosts and the dates of the sub-regional qualifier tournaments were announced on 14 December 2023. Italy and Germany were awarded hosting rights of an ICC qualification pathway event for the first time.[6][7]
Italy advanced from Qualifier A, with former Australian international Joe Burns scoring a century in the final against Romania.[8]
