The article claims that Michael II was Jewish, as does his son's article, [[Theophilos (emperor)]]. The author of the source is a medical doctor and researcher, not a historian, Byzantine studies scholar, or Judaic studies scholar. Jewish? Cannot verify

The article claims that Michael II was Jewish, as does his son's article, Theophilos (emperor). The author of the source is a medical doctor and researcher, not a historian, Byzantine studies scholar, or Judaic studies scholar. It seems his only position of authority is being Jewish.[1]
