WBL-TV "Lansings CW5" is The CW affiliate for the Lansing, Michigan television market. It is owned by Freedom Communications, originally part of the WB 100+ Station Group. Freedom Communications also owns WLAJ, Lansing's ABC affiliate.

WBL-TV is available only on cable and on the digital signal of WLAJ. It joined the CW Television Network (to be formed by a merger of the WB and UPN television networks) in the fall of 2006. It also became available on WLAJ's digital. Former UPN affiliate WHTV began carrying My Network TV at the same time.

"Lansing's CW5" has only one locally produced program, the very successful,and funny "Text Me TV" which premiered on February 19th and airs mon-fri 1:30am-6am, Saturday and sundays 2-6am

As of April 2, 2007, the Lansing based "TEXT ME TV" also airs on West Michigan's CW 7 Monday-Sunday Midnight to 6am with Lansing's CW5 (home base of the show) picking up the live show at 1:30am monday-friday and 2am on weekends.

Lansing's CW is also the NEW home of the Detroit Red Wings
