== Please undelete "consupport" ==

Hi

I've tried a few times, but not had an answer. However I'm happy to try again.
I would like to get the article "consupport" undeleted.
From the discussion, various changes were requested and all were done.
There were no outstanding problems - however it suddenly vanished.

The only message was
"The result was delete. - Mailer Diablo"

Much like the "Camp Mendocino" or "google", consupport is a free service which anyone can use.
If you feel that the article needs improvement before undeleting, I would be happy to either do it myself, or would be equally happy of you or other people made the improvements.

Thank you

Ratty

Talk page policy image

The talk page policy image (yakyakyak.gif)... what font did you use to create that image? Kind regards, –sebi 05:01, 11 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ahh, crap. Thanks anyway :) –sebi 00:07, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome back!

Welcome back, Mailer. You got an email. @pple 16:43, 11 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Academy Awards

Why are you deleting all of those Academy Awards articles? I am literally working on them now, as we speak ... literally as you are deleting them. Please let me know. Thanks. (Joseph A. Spadaro 03:12, 12 August 2007 (UTC))[reply]

You just deleted about 7 Academy Awards articles that I am currently working on and have consistently been working on. They were being deleted literally as I was working on them tonight. I was unaware of their consideration for deletion until this very moment, as I started to work on them. What, if anything, can be done about this? Who can I speak to about this? Thanks. (Joseph A. Spadaro 07:37, 12 August 2007 (UTC))[reply]
  • The pages were tagged with {{AfD}} for five days, in accordance to policy, you didn't notice them at all? Please consider the reasons within the AfD for deletion, because if fundamentally the article subject do not justify inclusion policy no matter how good the quality of the article is written it cannot be saved. - Mailer Diablo 15:20, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I have done so. However, you have replied to -- but not answered -- my questions. My questions, at this point, are: What, if anything, can be done about this? Who can I speak to about this? Please advise. Thanks. (Joseph A. Spadaro 21:04, 12 August 2007 (UTC))[reply]
Okay, in that case if you have a compelling justification for undeletion, try deletion review. Or if you would like a userified copy of the content so that you can work on it, let me know the list of pages on my talkpage. - Mailer Diablo 11:36, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have reviewed these links on deletion review. Thanks. They say that Step 1 is to first attempt to resolve the issue in discussion with the administrator (or other editor) in question. So ... is that you or someone else? If it is you, how do we begin this process? If it is not you, who would be the correct person for me to discuss this with? Thanks. (Joseph A. Spadaro 20:55, 13 August 2007 (UTC))[reply]
Hello. I am still attempting to resolve this issue, as per my last posting to you (immediately above). I have not yet heard back from you. Please reply at my Talk Page. Thanks. (Joseph A. Spadaro 23:59, 17 August 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Please undelete "Camp Mendocino"

Hi!

I didn't get an answer to this, so I will try again.

Hello,

If possible, I would like to see the article "Camp Mendocino" undeleted.

Excerpt from deletion notice:

22:22, 15 January 2007 Mailer diablo (Talk | contribs) deleted "Camp Mendocino"
(Proposed deletion expiring after 5 days, 9/1/2007)

I'm not sure why it was deleted. Camp Mendocino belongs to a non profit organization, is very traditional, and has existed since the 1930s. If the article requires changes, please let me know.

Thank you in advance.

Fair use disputed for Image:AEticket.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:AEticket.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. effeietsanders 20:44, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Being a mentor for the Mexican English class

First of all, thank you for volunteering to be a mentor! It cant be easy to find time when youre serving in the Army (ex-Army here too :D )

Anyway, you stated in the comments section of the Mentor's table that you can help out with the cultural differences between Wikipedias. I was wondering if you could give me a little tutorial first? What should I look for? One of my students assignments is to translate an English article into Spanish for Spanish Wikipedia. Any issues you foresee?

Thanks!

Restored Oshkosh All-Stars as a stub

A while ago, you deleted the article Oshkosh All-Stars. I've decided to restore it as it short stub, since, in my mind, it's a notable former basketball team. They won two championships in the NBL, which was the premier pro basketball league in the US during the 1930s and 1940s. (They eventually merged with another league to form the NBA.) The article is only a couple of sentences long at the moment, but it could be expanded quite easily with print sources. Look here, for example.

So, that's it. Just wanted to explain my reasoning. Cheers, Zagalejo 04:08, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:AEticket.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:AEticket.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 09:42, 18 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
