This is a list of fictional characters from the Anno Domini continuity of the Gundam anime metaseries, organized by nation and faction.

Celestial Being

File:Schenberg.png
Aeolia Schenberg

Aeolia Schenberg (イオリア・シュヘンベルグ)

  • Voiced by: Chikao Ōtsuka[1]

An academic born in 2051, known to have made significant contributions in the areas of physics and engineering; believed to be the founder of the private paramilitary organization Celestial Being, which pursues the complete eradication of armed conflict. Of the few manuscripts of his still in print as of the beginning of the 24th century, the most notable is a 2090 dissertation describing a potential solution to the global fuel crisis — the theoretical basis of the combined orbital elevator and photovoltaic energy system, the construction and defense of which he foresaw to employ humanoid machines not unlike mobile suits. As the level of technology available at the time of publication was insufficiently advanced to realize the project, his views received little public attention. Following 2101, he is said to have dedicated himself to the advancement of space colonization, and is thought to have eventually died off-planet. In 2307, at the initiation of Celestial Being's aggressive military intervention, he appeared in a worldwide broadcast announcing the existence and intentions of the organization.

The name Schenberg may be a reference to the Brazilian electrical engineer and physicist Mário Schenberg. His historical significance bears a resemblance to that of the Russian rocket scientist Konstantin Tsiolkovsky, the real-world originator of the orbital elevator concept.

Gundam Meisters

The Gundam Meisters

Within the organization, members designated to pilot mobile suits of the Gundam production line are referred to as Meisters (マイスター), and are typically addressed by alias. As such, the names in the entries below are codenames.[2]

Setsuna F. Seiei (刹那・F・セイエイ)

  • Voiced by: Mamoru Miyano[1]
  • Age: 16
    Birthdate: Apr. 7, 2291
    Birthplace: Kurdish Republic
Other Designations: Soran (Original name, used by his mother), Kamal Majirif (self-reference in episode 8)
  • Unit: GN-001 Gundam Exia

Having been discovered by Celestial Being at the age of 14 for having special potential as a pilot, he is currently a Gundam Meister for their organization. He can be described as taciturn and comes off as a knowledgeable young man. Resides in Japan when not on Celestial Being duties.[3]

Setsuna's real name is currently unknown as several different names have been used when referring to him; Setsuna is his Gundam Meister codename. Six years prior to being recruited into Celestial Being, he was a child soldier in the war-torn Kurdish Republic. [4] He murdered his own parents under Ali Al Sarshes' influence in order to prove his devotion to God.[5] Setsuna believes that war can only be stopped through direct confrontation, and therefore has little tolerance for diplomats and politicians, believing that their 'peace talks' only lengthen the conflict and cause more casualties.

Lockon Stratos (ロックオン・ストラトス)

  • Voiced by: Shinichiro Miki[1]
  • Age: 24
    Birthdate: Mar. 3, 2283
    Birthplace: Ireland
Other Designations: Neil Dylandy (his real name)
  • Unit: GN-002 Gundam Dynames

Decided to join Celestial Being after losing his parents to terrorists in Ireland; because of this, he loathes terrorists. He has an identical twin. As the eldest pilot, he is considered the team leader of the Gundam Meisters, and sports a more easygoing, flamboyant personality as compared to the other Gundam Meisters. He owns an orange Haro.[3]

Allelujah Haptism (アレルヤ・ハプティズム)

  • Voiced by: Hiroyuki Yoshino[1]
  • Age: 19 (Episode 1-11), 20 (Claim made by Allelujah in Episode 11)
    Birthdate: Feb. 27, 2288
Other Designations: E-0057 (used by Super Soldier Special Duty Organization)
  • Unit: GN-003 Gundam Kyrios

Spent his childhood as an orphan in the Human Reform League. He is usually gentle and quiet.[3]

Allelujah's left eye is grey, and most situations, Allelujah's hair completely conceals his right eye from view. While generally gentle and rational compared to the other Gundam Meisters, he has another harsher, unstable, and outright sadistic personality, named Hallelujah inside him. When the Hallelujah persona emerges, his hair shifts to cover his left eye and his right iris is shown to have a golden hue. All indications seem to point that he harbors a grudge against the Human Reform League for conducting superhuman experiments on children, of which he was one of the subjects.

Tieria Erde (ティエリア・アーデ)

A boy with a rare kind of beauty, his history, nationality and origins all a mystery. Within his gentle tone, he can give a sense of cold intentions.[3] Values the mission above all other issues, including life, and doesn't show any 'concern' for his teammates. Tieria seems extremely loyal to Veda, and will go to any length to ensure the secrecy of Celestial Being remains what it is, a secret, even if he has to kill other Gundam Meisters himself to achieve this end. His eyes seem to glow with a digital, rainbow-ish hue when activating the mobile suit GN-004 Nadleeh from GN-005 Virtue. A similar effect occurs when he interfaces directly with Veda.

Crew of the Ptolemaios

Sumeragi Lee Noriega (スメラギ・李・ノリエガ)

  • Voiced by: Yōko Honna[1]
  • Age: 26
  • Tactical forecaster of the Celestial Being mothership Ptolemaios. Not a captain but essentially the top ranking officer on the ship so she takes command. She basically plans all the tactics the Gundam Meisters take part in. However, she enjoys drinking, even in the middle of an operation, and is frequently seen with a liquor flask in hand. She went to college with Billy Katagiri, and they both had Leif Aifman as a professor.[3]

Christina Sierra (クリスティナ・シエラ)

  • Voiced by: Arise Satō[1]
  • Age: 22

Ptolemaios tactical operator. She was a highly-skilled programmer before being discovered by Celestial Being. Has a good-natured personality and a deep trust of her comrades. She seems to be green in combat situations, and broke down mid-combat in the Ptolemaios when the ship was struck by enemy fire.[3]

Felt Grace (フェルト・グレイス)

  • Voiced by: Ayahi Takagaki[1]
  • Age: 14

A tactical operator, same as Christina. For some reason or another, she seems to be poor at communicating with others. Her late parents worked under Celestial Being as Meisters for the 2nd-generation GNY-series Gundam prototypes. She has a wealth of mechanics-related knowledge and joined Celestial Being in anticipation of being able to utilize it.[3]

Lichtendahl Caeli (リヒテンダール・ツエーリ)

  • Voiced by: Masataka Azuma[1]
  • Age: 21

Ptolemaios helmsman with a cheerful personality.[3]

Lasse Aion (ラッセ・アイオン)

  • Voiced by: Hiroki Touchi[1]
  • Age: 25

Ptolemaios gunner. The mothership's combat ability can be said to be governed by him. He often acts cynically.[3]

Ruid Resonance Ruid Resonance (ルイード・レゾナンス)

A protagonist in the sidestory Mobile Suit Gundam 00P -- one of the four Gundam Meisters employed by Celestial Being in the period in which 00P is set. A protagonist in the sidestory Mobile Suit Gundam 00P -- one of the four Gundam Meisters employed by Celestial Being in the period in which 00P is set. A member of Celestial Being and the designated Meister of a prototype Gundam unit; later appears as a commander of Fereshte in 00F. Selected for recruitment by Veda on the basis of her academic performance and her ranking in Power Loader competitions. Ruid Resonance believes that other qualities may have influenced Veda's arbitration.

Gundam Meister 874 Gundam Meister 874 (ガンダムマイスター874)

A protagonist in the sidestory Mobile Suit Gundam 00P -- one of the four Gundam Meisters employed by Celestial Being in the period in which 00P is set. Designated pilot of the GNY-002 Gundam Sadalsuud. Though Meisters are typically referred to by codename, 874 is designated only by number. For unspecified reasons, she does not appear before the other members of the organization. Physically, she looks younger than 15, but her eyes seem far older.

Presently the commanding officer of Fereshte, having ceased active service as a Meister after an incident that scarred her face and prematurely whitened her hair. She is stated to have some past relationship with the GNY-004 Gundam Plutone.

Fon Spaak
Fon Spaak (フォン・スパーク)
  • Age: 18

Eco Colore (エコ・コロンエ)
  • Age: 30

A character in Mobile Suit Gundam 00F. He's a strong believer of Aeolia Schenberg's words of eliminating wars all over the Earth. He was once a candidate Gundam Meister but as he is inferior to Setsuna and the current Meister he was removed and is now a pilot of Fereshte.
