Budget

I'm sorry that I keep reverting you but you are going to have to find a more reliable source. BOM.com also says that Superman Return's budget is like 260 million, when it isn't. Try and find a source from Disney or the director. Bignole 13:15, 8 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

List of Egyptian films

PLease contact me to discuss. PLease see the other lists for style - good work ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 22:01, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

PLease try to create new articles like The Girl with the Pistol next time. Thanks ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 11:07, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Could you try to add the year category also and redirect the foreign language title to the english. Otherwise somebody else might start the same article under the original title. pLease listen to me -you ignored me last time ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 11:10, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WOULD YOU PLEASE LISTEN TO ME!!!!!!!!!!! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 11:18, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OK sorry to go on, but all you had to do is quickly reply last time and I would have known!!. Its just at WP Films the most active of us try so hard to add infoboxes to all articles and to improve the minor stubs which are undeveloped . If you could take an extra minute on each one with an infobox and cinema template it would save a lot of work later and gives it a firm foundation to work on. I appreciate your work very much ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 11:26, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Its also very important to create the redirects e.g see Macskajáték. This way it avoids potential duplicate articles which believe me happens all the time. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 11:33, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I'm not surprised you were scared off with the tough image licenses. Go to www.google.com click on images and search for the title of the film. Save it and copy the url address of the page you got the image from. Then on wikipedia click upload and select either screenshot of poster or dvd cover. Then just copy the fair use rationale template and just add the correct source and title the image is being used in. Have a go ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 11:40, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you see here you can copy and paste the full rationale to every poster of the film you upload and just add the correct title three times and the source you got the image from. You get the hang of it -I had to devise a way to shut that image bot up!!!! LOL! Good luck ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 11:43, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you see Image:La ragazza con la pistola.jpg where it says source this is where you provide the link to where you got it from ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 11:45, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am pleased you are working on these films as these countries are all notable film producers and at the moment aside from Italy and France the coverage is very poor. When I;m done on my curret work the countries I aim to work the most on are Poland, Hungary and Czechoslovakia, Israel, Greece, Sweden/Denmark and Russia. There are truckloads of missing films from these countries probably over 95% are missing it would be superb if you could develop this area. I also created the list of films for these countries which are also pretty underdeveloped. I would love to see some more even coverage of films from these countries which have produced some great films ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 11:50, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I'd noticed of course you were covering those. Unbelievable isn't it that they have taken nearly 7 years to get onto here on a project of this scale. Regards ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 12:00, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

For many films it may not be easy to find an image. French and Italian films should be easiest. I added a film poster and infobox to Catsplay ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 12:05, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nice going. I've sorted The Truce (1974 film) as well. I am very familiar with Argentine cinema anyway ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 12:29, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There should be categorized under [[:Category:Submissions for Best Foreign Language Film Academy Award ]] ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 12:31, 23 November 2007 (UTC) Category:Best Foreign Language Film Academy Award nominees is perfect. I'll do it now ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 12:35, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've now sorted 107 of the pages see Category:Best Foreign Language Film Academy Award nominees. I've reached 1986. I'll continue with tagging and templating later. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Blofeld of SPECTRE (talkcontribs) 13:41, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yep I started Aage Fønss also!!! Keep up the good work. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 13:43, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think there is already a seperate category for the winners ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 13:51, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There's 189 nominees I think perhaps I have missed some? Did you mean 255 including the winners? ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 15:18, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In total it looks around 245 ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 15:19, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well its the same with the infoboxes. I hate that buff colur. It is yellow and not pleasant looking. Why not use gold rather than a mustard yellow if you want to create the gold effect? ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 15:47, 23 November 2007 (UTC) Keep it as it is at present and see what the consensus is at the FA nom -if others agree with you then revert it. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 15:51, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OK I reverted the silver -it looked a little blocky I agree but the off yellow was not good either. Happy with this? I personally think this looks a lot clearer ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 16:17, 23 November 2007 (UTC) Personally I think it is an excellent article and worthy of an FA although I would have to read it more thoroughly to check for reiable references and copy editing. It appears to meet the criteria but FA nominations are a gruelling process and people will object at the slightest things. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 16:27, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merger

I have done some work here: User:Inge/Sandbox if you want to use it. Since it might be a bit intimidating to actually do the merger I will do it now with the list I have made based on your ideas. Be prepared that this might create some turbulence :) Inge 14:43, 9 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Help needed in Hindi

Hello BomBom! Thanks for your inquiry. Salaam Bombay! is written in Hindi as सलाम बॉम्बे! I have added this script to the articles as well as the scripts for other Hindi films here. I hope this helps. Best of luck, AnupamTalk 17:14, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You're very welcome! The way you rewrote/formatted your version of the article seems to be better than the current one. With regards, AnupamTalk 19:44, 17 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Oscar Statuette (79th Academy Awards).jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Oscar Statuette (79th Academy Awards).jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Oscar Statuette (79th Academy Awards).jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Oscar Statuette (79th Academy Awards).jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 06:42, 19 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.PNG

Hi. The map Image:Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.PNG is very good, but I'd like to suggest an alteration. The red for the US is a bit too attention-grabbing in contrast to the shades of green used for the other countries - and it is these other countries that are of interest here. Please consider a different colour scheme (pale blue for the US, perhaps?) - 52 Pickup (talk) 16:54, 8 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I am writing to you regarding the comment you made on my talk page about the map Image:Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.PNG. I'm sorry for not replying to you earlier, but I did not want to modify the map right away: because the nominations announcement was imminent, I would in any case have had to update the map again in order to include the countries which were nominated for the first time ever. Therefore, I preferred to do all the necessary modifications at the same time. I have now updated the map by including these countries AND by taking into account the suggestions you made. Here is the old version of the map. This is the current version. Do you like the current colours ? If not, what other colours would you recommend ? BomBom (talk) 15:22, 11 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Nice. Perhaps a dark grey (darker than the grey used for all other countries) or black might be even better for the USA? The main contrast you want to convey in the image is between the nominees and the winners, so while the USA needs to be in a separate colour to all other countries for this image, the USA still contrasts a little too strongly from all other colours. - 52 Pickup (deal) 18:34, 11 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I put the US in dark grey. The map now looks like this. Is it OK now? BomBom (talk) 14:52, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yep. Good job! - 52 Pickup (deal) 15:44, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

WP:LOTD

In the last month, you have created a new WP:FL. From what I can tell, this is your first one. Congratulations! You may not be aware of WP:LOTD. We are experimenting with selecting Lists of the Day so similar to the current WP:TFA and WP:POTD features that run on the main page. I invite you to participate.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTD) 21:27, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Takashi Matsuyama (actor), and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: Takashi Matsuyama. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page.
