From: WP:CIV: Civility is a standard which all Wikipedians are expected to follow. It is, perhaps, easier to define its opposite, however: incivility, as defined on Wikipedia, consists of personally-targeted, belligerent behavior and persistent rudeness that results in an atmosphere of conflict and stress. This behavior and the ensuing atmosphere are detrimental to the project, and, therefore, are to be avoided. Civility is a reasonable way to distinguish acceptable conduct from unacceptable conduct.

J. R.R. Tolkien needs your help

J.R.R. Tolkien is up for Wikipedia:Featured article candidates and is VERY CLOSE. As you seem to have originally contributed to the development of this article, could you help put the in line citations where they need to go? That is the last big thing to be done, and I would truly appreciate the help since I would love to see it get FA status and I have none of the books! :) Thanks much! I had to remove those sections for its just a smorgasboard of lists. It is unencylopedic. I'm leaving out the influences section, and that might be included in the introduction, as to who are their major influences, NOT an entire section. The Equipment and the Goal sections has to be deleted. The Histroy section has to be rephrased. In toto, it is just a propaganda article. Check What Wikipedia is not. Revise as needed. However, the equipment and goal sections give useful information about the band's method and mesasge. --Malecasta 01:31, 17 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
reference: http://soundclick.com/hale or better yet, try googling informations about them --61.9.55.100
If it came from that website, then its copyvio. More so it shouldn't be there.Howard the Duck 05:19, 16 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It is fair to use copyrighted information as long as it is cited; this is "fair use." I'm very much for any "propaganda" claims to be cited so they can be fairly used as secondary sources for a reference article. --Malecasta 01:31, 17 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You did vandalize the page, Howard. It appears to be that you have grudges against the band. --61.9.55.100
Ad hominems don't work for me. Howard the Duck 05:19, 16 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think the page was vandalized. I do think information was deleted that could have been revised and discussed. --Malecasta 01:31, 17 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please leave a signature and time stamp on my talk page. I see Howard the Duck, but I don't know who the other person is. --Malecasta 01:24, 17 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I guess we should settle the issue at Talk:Hale (band). Howard the Duck 14:14, 17 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
