Attendance

There is no way there was only 13,000 at Backlash. The place was sold out, and Rexalls capacity is in the 16,000 region. I'm going to find a source and change it. This looks like more attempts to make Canada look inferior to the U.S. again. Killswitch Engage (talk) 18:15, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you can find one, go right ahead. But, until then, it will remain 13,000. –Cheers, LAX 19:39, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
What I'm going to do is see if I can't track down a video of the event, where you hear J.R. clearly say, "over 18,000 on hand for Backlash. Thats an exaggeration, because Rexall only holds like 16,000 people. Can I use a wiki page as a reference for a capacity? I know that wrestling is set up similar to hockey, and the arena holds 16,000+ for ice hockey. Mind giving me a hand on that? Thanks. Killswitch Engage (talk · contribs)
You may not use another Wikipedia page as a source, and you may only use a video if they are not illegally hosting WWE content (meaning YouTube is out of the question). –Cheers, LAX 19:46, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
So I could rip the footage from a DVD and send it to someone as proof? Killswitch Engage (talk) 19:50, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Or just cite the DVD using Template:Cite DVD-notes. –Cheers, LAX 19:52, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Where do I put it on the page?Killswitch Engage (talk) 05:16, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
In the Infobox, the only place where the attendance is mentioned. –Cheers, LAX 11:34, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
What the fuck? I put it in the infobox just like you said? Whats your problem now?Killswitch Engage (talk) 04:51, 29 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It was messed up. [1]Cheers, LAX 08:48, 29 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Alright then, you show me how to put it in.Killswitch Engage (talk) 06:38, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

pre-GA review

Throughout the entire article make sure that the dates are Wiki-linked. It's mostly a problem in the aftermath.

Lead, Background, Pictures

  1. I don't see anything wrong with these sections.

Event

  1. Try to expand on the matches. They all seem to be a little bit too short.
  2. Combine the first, second, and third paragraphs.
    LAX 01:48, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  3. And the fourth and fifth.
    LAX 01:48, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  4. And the sixth and seventh.
    LAX 01:48, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  5. Benjamie - self explanatory
    LAX 01:48, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  6. The match saw Garrison Cade interfere - try to stay away from phrases such as "The match saw"
    Why? –LAX 01:48, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Because a match can't see something. You can say, during the duration of the match iMatthew 2008 01:56, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  7. The match came about - huh?
    LAX 15:52, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  8. Can we find a better word that "catapulted"
    Zenlax T C S 20:17, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  9. Wiki-link "enziguiri kick"
    Zenlax T C S 20:13, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  10. The match that followed was for the WWE Women's Championship match I guess you can remove the work "match"
    Zenlax T C S 20:13, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  11. The match was controlled by both Victoria and Lita. how is the match controlled by both competitors?
    Zenlax T C S 20:15, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  12. Again, stay away from the phrase "One spot in the match saw"
    Why? –LAX 01:48, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  13. I believe "lay" should be "lye"
    Zenlax T C S 20:19, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  14. One spot in the match saw again in the last paragraph (It comes up twice), then Another included,
    Again, why? –LAX 01:48, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Aftermath

  1. Wiki-link or explain "Double champion"
I think the term "Double champion" is explained, as it informs that Benoit retained the title and won the World Tag team title. Zenlax T C S 19:55, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
    I didn't know what you meant until now. It isn't really explained. iMatthew 2008 20:20, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Prior to Raw that night, Bischoff informed Triple H that the following week on Raw, he would have a title match against Benoit what was the result of this match?
    I don't quite follow. Zenlax T C S 19:58, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You're telling me that Triple H would have a title match against Benoit the following week. What happened in that match, and who won? iMatthew 2008 20:20, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
    I saw that match Triple H won. DoorLearn (talk) 15:05, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  3. "not a participant in the battle" changed "battle" to "match"
    Zenlax T C S 19:57, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  4. to know of he was scheduled i assume that "of" should be "if"
    Zenlax T C S 20:07, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  5. Bischoff assured Michaels, but was jumped from behind by Triple H, after Michaels attacked Triple H outside the arena's parking lot it's not clear who Triple H jumped...and use another word instead of "jumped"
    Zenlax T C S 20:07, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  6. RAW to Raw.... right?
    LAX 01:48, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  7. Superstars does not need to have a capital "S"
    Zenlax T C S 19:56, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  8. 'question', if those are supposed to be quotation marks, then use "" not
  9. I'm confused. You mention that Kane received a title match in both paragraphs. I believe it should only be mentioned in the first paragraph. Remove it from the paragraph about Hardy/Lita. Also expand the Hardy/Lita section. How did the feud result?
  10. "problem solver" the quotation marks should not be wiki-linked.
Please see Trish Stratus' article as the example is written there. Zenlax T C S 20:00, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  11. Wiki-link "Steel Cage match"
    Zenlax T C S 20:05, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  12. 'During a tag team match between Jericho and Shelton Benjamin, the tag match between Jericho and Shelton, does not make sense. The tag match between Jericho and Shelton vs. Batista and Ortan.
    Zenlax T C S 20:10, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  13. Again, stay away from this phrase "in which it saw him"
    Zenlax T C S 20:05, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Results

  1. Numbers in parentheses indicate the length of the match. -- should be small text
  2. The match notes all need to be sourced.

Let me know when you are done. iMatthew 2008 01:30, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
