Headstrong (1st album - 2007)

Headstrong is the first studio album released by Ashley Tisdale. The album have fourteen tracks and four singles are released. Ashley did also a tour named Headstrong Tour Across America for the promotion of Headstrong

Be Good to Me (1st Single - 2006)

Song

Ashley released her first single from Headstrong album, released in the end of 2006 year. This song has the only featuring in the album: Be Good to Me features a rap by David Jassy. The song was written and produced by Kara DioGuardi.

Music Video

The single has a music video, recorded during the tour High School Musical: The Concert: it shows Ashley singing in a ficticious concert. The same dancers from her concert for High School Musical were used in the performance for this video. There was a large screen in the background that switched vibrantly colored designs. Disney Channel premiered it on January 25, 2007. On April 2007 this music video was premiered how "First Look" by TRL in MTV.

"Last Christmas" was recorded in 2006 for Warner Bros. Records by Ashley Tisdale. It was released on iTunes on Christmas, 2007 as Ashley's official first holiday single. The CD single didn't have a physical release. Ashley performed Last Christmas for the first time on Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (2007 Edition, singing the Cutted Live Version.

Later, performed the complete version (using playback) alogside with Suddenly on 2007 Christmas in Rockefeller Center.

He Said She Said (2nd Single - 2007)

"He Said She Said" was released as Ashley's second official single, released in September, 2007. The single was confirmed Gold by the RIAA with more than 500,000 copies sold.

The song was co-written by songwriter/producer J. R. Rotem, and Ryan "Alias" Tedder. The song leaked in full on December 10. The single was released in the UK and the U.S. on September 17, 2007 and in Germany on October 26, 2007.

Music Video

On June 26, 2007, Ashley made an all new music video for the song, directed by Scott Speer. The new video is the first part of the "There's Something About Ashley" DVD. The plot is Ashley and her friends go to a club and a guy (Josh Henderson) notices Ashley at the club. She starts to dance with her friends and looks after the guy. Ashley's sister Jennifer appears on the video as one of her friends.

Charts

"He Said She Said" entered in a lot of charts. Entered on Billboard Hot 100 in the beginning of 2007 but re-entered in the end of the year and received a new peak: #58. To see complete chart performance, enter in the article.

"Not Like That" was released in the start of 2008 year as Ashley Tisdale's third official single from her debut album. The song was released only in Europe and in Chile but is playing in some radios on Brazil. Tisdale performed this song on The Early Show and in the Headstrong Tour Across America.

The song was co-written by Ashley Tisdale, David Jassy, Joacim Person, Niclas Molinder and Pelle Ankarberg. Adittional vocals by David Jassy, and it was produced by Twin for Redfly. Tisdale said that the song is about how people: "...often see the glamorous side of this career"

Music Video

The music video intro features Ashley Tisdale in her bedroom talking with her sister Jennifer about the guy that Ashley met on the He Said She Said video. The video starts when Ashley starts to read a magazine that say a lot of rumours about her life. Josh Henderson and Scott Speer make cameos in the video.

"Suddenly" is a single from Ashley Tisdale's debut album Headstrong. The song was released on February 22, 2008 in Brazil, as Ashley's third single there. In Germany it was released on May 2, 2008, as her fourth single there.

Ashley co-wrote Suddely with Janice Robinson, and she had taken part of the production team too. In January 2008, the song was released in Radio Disney Argentina. This song was produced by Guy Roche.

Music Video

The video was filmed by Scott Speer and released around mid-October 2007, it is the third and last part of the There's Something About Ashley DVD. It shows moments of the DVD in the process of recording, Ashley in different moments of her life and also during the Tour of "High School Musical: The Concert".

There's Something About Ashley is a documentary DVD released by Warner Bros. Records, featuring actress/singer Ashley Tisdale. It was released on November 13, 2007. The DVD includes 3 new music videos from her debut album Headstrong and a 45-minutes documentary. The videos included in the DVD are "He Said, She Said", "Not Like That", and "Suddenly". The first video single was "He Said, She Said", premiered on September 19, 2007 on TRL. All the videos were directed by Scott Speer.
