"Al Diablo Con Los Guapos" (To Hell with the Handsome) is a Mexican telenovela made by Televisa.

This TV series is produced by Angelli Nesma Medina. Al Diablo con los Guapos premiered October 8 2007 at El Canal de las Estrellas.

Synopsis

Al Diablo Con Los Guapos (a remake of argentinian soap opera "Muneca Brava")is mainly about the main character, "Milagros" Allison Lozano and "Alejandro Belemonte" Eugenio Siller who face many challenges with other characters. Milagros As a girl, loved soccer and plays well to the degree that in the convent where she was raised, they called her "Miligol". At the age of 18, she leaves the convent and finds work with lady "Regina Belmonte" - the matriarch of a family company. Regina sympathizes with Milagros immediately but the remainder of the family does not bear her self-assured character and her bad manners.

The son of Constancio Belmonte, Alejandro, is a typical rich boy that flees from commitments and is a renowned womanizer. He is interested in Milagros because she considers him an unbearable bore and her authentic frank way of speaking captivates him. Little by little, between suits and discussions, the two begin to date although Milagros resists to accept him. She well knows Alejandro's fame of womanizing and fears to be abandoned like her mother. Besides this, Alejandro is engaged to Andrea, his girlfriend.

Constancio Belmonte, Regina's son, detests his family and doesn't even try hide this. Especially to his wife Luciana since his father obliged him to marry her which in turn separated him from Rosario,the love of his life. At the time, she was expecting a son of his, but she disappeared without leaving a trace. As soon as he learned this, Constancio did not try to locate his son. Andrea and Alejandro start having problems along.what alejandro does not know is that Andrea only wants Alejandro for money because he is the son of a well known man Constancio. Andrea has secret love affairs with Constancio because she loves him, Constancio despises Alejandro because of the fact that he isn't his son, but the son of another man Luciana once loved.

when Alejandro and Milagros confess their love for each other, they face many oppositions, but above all Andrea's.She is an ambitious woman who became Alejandro's fiancee in order to insure her future.she convinces Hugo, Alejandro's cousin who also is in love with mili, to help her separate them. Hugo accepts because he is in love with mili, and their campaign of poisonous lies is successful. Alejandro and mili are separated since milli thinks that andrea is actually having a baby by alejandro. andrea gets discovered but before mili and alejandro can go back together, another woman comes comes in. milli and alejandros relationship gets rocky which leads to mili accepting to marry Hugo.But on the day of the wedding Alejandro plans to go on vacation with an old girlfriend, Pilar. Andrea gives alegandro a little gift before he leaves. the present contains the secret that hugo lied to milli about helping andrea fake her pregnancy. when alejandro is on the plane ready to leave, he opens the bag and the secret is revealed. what he finds in there is a voice recorder of Hugo confessing that he help Andrea with all her plans and that his "wife" would never find out. Alejandro gets off the plane and goes to tell mili before she makes a big mistake. at the wedding Alegandro kidnaps mili and takes her to a far away cabin. Hugo is chasing them on a motorcycle and has an accident which leaves him unconscious. Alejandro is convinced that Milagros loves him and confronts her and she confesses.alejandro and milli spend time together and then as Alejandro and Mili are about to make love,pilar storms into the cabin with a gun and threatens to shoot Milagros, but Alejandro shields her with his body; Pilar doesn't shoot. Afterwards, Milagros and alegandro return to the mansion. they are determined to defend their love. during everything that is happening, alejandro takes some time off to think about everything and meets a woman named florencia. alejandro stars to have feeling for her. In the meantime, alegandro's family is doing everything in their power to separate them, his mother Luciana and his sister valeria hate Milagros because she is a servant girl. milli and alejandro plan to secretly marry, vowing to tell no one. Luciana overhears mili tell one of her best friend alegandros plan to secretly get married. Luciana does all she can to stop that wedding.on the day of the wedding, Luciana follows alegandro and mili to the the little church were they are going to be married. mili goes into a little room to put on her wedding dress. Luciana sneaks into the church, and goes into the room where mili is changing. mili is surprised to see her there. Luciana she tell her that she is the long lost daughter of her husband therefore she is alegandros sister. With this news mili sneaked out of the church, crying. Of course half of this was true. Constancio already knew this but by fear of losing his social potions stays quiet. meanwhile Regina belmonte, is leaving all her fortune to mili she is leaving all her money to her because she loves her like a real granddaughter, she also adopted her. She is the only person from his family that wants them to be together. she knows the whole truth. after she changes her will, she has a heart attack. she then is taken to the hospital.when alegandro finds out he believes that is the real reason why Milagros left the church. Mili speaks to her. Regina tells mili that she is dying. Mili thinks this is her only chance to tell her grandmother that she is the granddaughter she has look for years. Mili tell Regina this and then Regina dies. After that day alegandro starts to notice that Mili has changed with him. He later finds out from her that they are brother and sister, and he reluctantly accepts to marry , Florencia who helped luciana with the lie, and as an effort to forget Milagros. when alejandro says his last goodbuys, he leaves to live elsewhere.It is then that luciana tells milagros that she lied and they are not really related, but she tells her right after Alejandro had left the country. Years pass and no one knows of Alejandro, and Mili has been the girlfriend of Hugo for about 3 years now. they get ennaged,Alejandro returns, and Mili is about to tell him the truth when she realizes that florencia is pregnant and decides to stay quiet. Love triangles form once again. Mili and Hugo eventally Married, but Mili and Alejandro go off on an Island and sleep together. Hugo gets Mili into a coma when he tries to force himself on her and then they divorce. Florencia dies and Mili and Alejandro stays with his daughter, get married in a triple wedding with her friend and Alejandro's sister. Then years pass and they happily pass away.

  • Al Diablo con los Guapos is a remake of the successful telenovela Muñeca Brava with Natalia Oreiro and Facundo Arana
  • The ratings of this show in the US increased dramatically since it first aired. The novela will end in early June. At its peak it attracted ratings up to 1.7 million viewers each weeknight.
  • Telemundo took a shot at its rival Univision by having Michelle Vieth appear in first-run episodes of La Traición, at the same time Univision airs this series from 2007. This highlights that the competing network rebroadcasts serials that already aired in Mexico several months ago, while Telemundo usually airs original programming. Michelle Vieth is one of the few soap performers to appear on competing US networks at the same time.[1]
