Beg Ferati (born November 10, 1986) is a Swiss footballer of Kosovar Albanian descent, who currently plays as defender for FC Basel in the Swiss Super League.

Football career

Beg Ferati signed his first professional contract at FC Concordia Basel where he played for their youth squad and reserves from 2001 to 2005 when he signed for their neighbours, FC Basel. During the 2006/07 season he was loaned back out to Concordia, playing in their first team that season. He returned to Basel in January 2008 and surprisingly started in Basel's 2-0 UEFA Champions League defeat to Sporting Lisbon at Estádio José Alvalade as a replacement for the injured François Marque on October 1 2008.

He is a regular in the Switzerland national under-21 football team.
